A first facestock has opposite first and second edges that come into proximity with one another when the label is wrapped around the apparatus. The first edge includes first contours that outline the first component of the predetermined image, and the second edge includes second contours that outline the second component. A multilayer sheet assembly comprises the adhesive label, wherein the first facestock inner surface includes a lined portion that is covered by a release liner, and an unlined portion that is not covered by the release liner. The sheet assembly further comprises a second facestock that covers at least some of the unlined portion of the first facestock inner surface, and is adhered thereto using an adhesive.

Abstract: A system and method of supplying visitor badges and business cards for visitors to a facility includes an image capture device and/or storage device, a user interface, and a central processing unit (CPU). The image capture device selectively captures an image of a visitor and supplies visitor image data representative thereof to the CPU. The user interface is configured to receive visitor personal data supplied from a user and supplies the visitor personal data to the CPU. The CPU selectively commands a printer to print a visitor identification badge and, if so desired, one or more visitor business cards that include visitor contact information.

Abstract: An apparatus, system, and method for decorating a mobile telephone or other personal electronic device uses a decorative label placed within one or more transparent and removable cover portions of the personal electronic device. The invention uses a printable sheet having a backing layer, adhesive layer, and printable face layer. The adhesive is bonded to the backing layer with greater force than to the face layer. The printable face layer has one or more labels cut therein. A user can select a desired decorative and/or functional pattern and print that pattern on the printable face layer. The user can then peel the label or labels away from the printable sheet, with the adhesive remaining on the backing layer.
