Patent number: 11958077Abstract: A vibratory screening machine includes replaceable screen assemblies. Compression mechanisms are used to secure replaceable screen assemblies to the vibratory screening machine. Each compression mechanism applies a force to a replaceable screen assembly that includes both a horizontal component and a downward vertical component. Each replaceable screen assembly is typically substantially flat prior to installation on a vibratory screening machine. The force applied to a screen assembly by one or more compression mechanisms causes the screen assembly to be pushed into engagement with underlying concave support members such that the screen assembly itself assumes a concave shape with the center of the screen assembly being lower than the side edges. The vertical downward component of the force helps to secure the screen assembly to the screening machine.Type: GrantFiled: October 24, 2023Date of Patent: April 16, 2024Assignee: DERRICK CORPORATIONInventors: Christian Newman, Michael Peresan, Daniel P. Jenkins, Keith Wojciechowski, William H. Gross

Publication number: 20240109730Abstract: A roller-and-rail cargo handling system that includes tracked rollers and side rails for receiving cargo pallets. A trolley system is used to move the pallets along the tracked rollers, which includes a trolley movable along a trolley track by one or more cables. The trolley includes (1) a body sized and configured for sliding beneath the pallet located on the tracked rollers, and (2) a pawl in a cavity of the body which is mounted for rotation between closed and open positions. In the open position the pawl extends above an upper surface of the body to engage a cutout of a pallet and exert a moving force thereto, and in the closed position the pawl is sufficiently within the cavity to permit the trolley to slide beneath the pallet without engagement thereof.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 28, 2023Publication date: April 4, 2024Inventors: Matthew Keith Dupre, Richard Earl Newman, III, Glenn Michael Hauptmann, William Keith DuBose

Publication number: 20220187727Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a polyester chemically produced toner composition including a core shell toner particle having special surface features and method to make the same. The special surface features on the outer surface of the core shell toner particle are created by the incorporation of a specially designed latex having styrene and acrylate monomers into the core of the toner particle wherein the latex in the core is tailored to be incompatible with the polyester resin(s) found in the core of the toner particle. The final ratio of the monomers in the latex to the surfactant in the latex is approximately 1:5. This ratio is key in maintaining a stable dispersion and is influenced by the particle size in the dispersion and surfactant chemistries.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 15, 2021Publication date: June 16, 2022Inventors: JING X SUN, QING ZHANG, BENJAMIN KEITH NEWMAN, CORY NATHAN HAMMOND, LIGIA AURA BEJAT
