  • Publication number: 20170116653
Abstract: The embodiments described herein can provide systems and methods utilize competitive history data to provide improved pricing recommendations for sellers. This competitive history data can include a time series of one or more competitor's prices for a set of products. This use of competitive history data to provide improved pricing recommendations to sellers introduces significant non-convexity to the determination of pricing recommendations. Accordingly, the systems and methods described herein employ a variety of technical approaches to generating the price recommendations in light of this introduced complexity. Additionally, the systems and methods employ various techniques to providing these price recommendations even when competitive history data is limited. Specifically, by using the limited to competitive history data to generate constraints, where the constraints can then be used for additional price optimizations where competitive history data is unavailable.

  • Patent number: 5920572
Abstract: A transport stream decoder/demultiplexer is provided which includes a program clock recovery circuit for recovering a program clock from program clock reference (PCR) values contained in selected transport packets. A processor is provided for extracting elementary stream data from transport packets labeled with packet identification codes (PIDs) that are specified by a host processor. The processor separately stores the elementary stream data of each stream. A host processor interface is also provided for transferring data between an external host processor and the program clock recovery circuit. A memory manager may be provided for storing the data extracted by the processor for each elementary stream in a corresponding queue. The queues may be maintained by the memory manager in an external RAM. A descrambler interface may be provided for transferring scrambled data and data derived from conditional access information between the processor and an external descrambler.

  • Patent number: 5856788
Abstract: A method and apparatus for determining the identification number or any other information within a plurality of radiofrequency identification tags within a common field of interrogation utilizes a combination of an isolation state into which the tags may be placed together with bitwise interrogation of the identification number or information followed by selective deactivation. A first bit in the identification number or information is interrogated of all the tags in the field. If any tag responds that the bit is a 1, a 1 is entered into an ID register in a reader and all tags in which a 0 exists in that bit position are deactivated. The process continues until only one tag remains activated. The last activated tag at this point has been completely read and is then placed in an isolated state. The process is begun anew with the remaining nonisolated tags until all tags have been read.
