    Abstract: An apparatus for shimming out a wall comprises a furring strip including an adhesive suitable for adhering to a wall component on at least a portion of at least one side of the furring strip. The furring strip comprises a thickness of between about one-eighth of an inch and about one and one-half of an inch. The furring strip comprises a width of between about three-quarters of an inch and about one and one-half of an inch. The furring strip comprises a length of between about three feet and about eight feet.
