  • Publication number: 20240071154
Abstract: An entry control device for limiting grain bin entry to permitted users includes a frame, to which an outer door and an inner door are hingedly attached. The frame is mountable to a grain bin so that the frame is positioned over an opening in the grain bin. The outer door selectively closes the opening, while the inner door selectively prevents of entry into the grain bin through the opening. An entry controller, which is attached to the frame, comprises a microprocessor, to which are operationally engaged a power module, a transceiver, and an actuatable lock. The actuatable lock is selectively engageable to the inner door. The transceiver receives an access approval signal from an electronic device of a manager, enabling the microprocessor to selectively actuate the actuatable lock to unlock the inner door, thereby allowing entry of a user into the grain bin.

  • Patent number: 11608283
Abstract: A method for improving the quality of pond water used in aquaculture applications by adding to the pond water active bacteria that are preferably germinated from spores on site using a nutrient-germinant composition and an incubation method for increased spore germination efficiency, in combination with a nitrification enhancement agent such as calcium carbonate or calcified seaweed, and an optional reaction surface area modifier such as calcified seaweed or plastic or metal particles or fragments. The nutrient-germinant composition comprises L-amino acids, D-glucose and/or D-fructose, a phosphate buffer, an industrial preservative, and may include bacteria spores (preferably of one or more Bacillus species) or they may be separately combined for germination. The incubation method comprises heating a nutrient germinant composition and bacteria spores, to a temperature range of 35° C. to 60° C.

  • Patent number: 9908799
Abstract: A method for treating and improving the quality of pond water used in growing aquatic species for aquacultural applications by adding to the pond water active bacteria that are preferably grown on site in combination with a nitrification enhancement agent such as calcium carbonate or calcified seaweed, and an optional reaction surface area modifier such as calcified seaweed or plastic or metal particles or fragments.

  • Publication number: 20160304367
Abstract: A system, composition and method of treating a body of water with an active in a tablet form or contained in a water soluble container to improve overall water quality and ensure adequate dispersion of the active. The composition preferably comprises active(s) and an effervescent couple in solid form. The method preferably comprises dispensing a treatment composition by dropping or throwing the pellets or water soluble containers into the water. The water soluble containers preferably are bag-within-a-bag containers, with an inner bag and outer bag each having the treatment composition and air. Upon contact with the water, the effervescent couple will react to form carbon dioxide, which aids in dispersing the active and any optional ingredients in the treatment composition throughout the water.
