  • Publication number: 20240153400
Abstract: A method, apparatus, and computer-readable storage medium are disclosed for simulating an event on an aircraft during a flight using a physical flight simulator capable of simulating the flight and the event on the aircraft. The method includes generating executable code including one or more scripts configured to be deployed on the physical flight simulator to simulate one or more aircraft parameters on the aircraft during the event, the one or more aircraft parameters characterizing a current status of the aircraft or systems thereof during the flight. The method further includes a computer processor executing a simulating application to simulate the event. Furthermore, the computer processor is configured to deploy the one or more scripts to output the one or more aircraft parameters to the physical flight simulator, subject to the one or more aircraft parameters, and receive user input in response to the event thereto.

  • Patent number: 10465511
Abstract: A mobile apparatus supported on a trailer measures, analyzes, and monitors drilling fluids on an oil & gas site. The system includes a modular automated test unit having instruments for measuring and analyzing physical and chemical drilling fluid parameters including but not limited to viscosity, density, pH, electrical stability, fluid loss, rheological parameters, retort analysis, titrations for mF, pF, POM, chlorides, hardness, calcium, and chromatographic analysis. The system further includes a manifold system situated between a drilling mud reservoir and a network of conduits, for distributing drilling fluid to be analyzed by the instruments. Also included is a system hub, coupled as an interface between a program-operated data processing and communication system and the manifold and system instruments, for communicating control and data information and routing storage in a database of the data outputs of the instruments.

  • Patent number: 9691068
Abstract: Some implementations include searching for and analyzing public-domain-status information about works (such as e-books) over the Internet. A computer system may search for works recently made available online that are categorized as being in the public domain. Associated metadata is analyzed to generate a confidence level regarding whether the works are in the public domain or protected by copyright. Based on the confidence level, decisions can be made, such as whether to make the works available for free in a particular country.
