Abstract: A driving arrangement for a motorized fishing reel has a first or driving gear, a second larger gear, a third or pinion gear, and a fourth gear. The driving gear is mounted to and driven by a shaft of a motor. The second gear is meshed with and driven by the driving gear. The pinion gear is meshed with and driven by the second gear. The fourth gear is meshed with and driven by the pinion gear. A clutch arrangement including a cam clicker input drive and a cam plate output drive is disposed such that the cam clicker positively engages and is driven by the fourth gear for rotation in one direction when the motor is actuated and the cam clicker yields from engagement with the fourth gear when the clutch arrangement rotates in that one direction relative to the fourth gear. A reel shaft is connected to the cam plate such that the reel shaft and the cam plate rotate with each other in that one direction.

Abstract: A teaser line puller arrangement includes a support housing having a watertight chamber for containing electrical connections between a source of electrical energy and electric motors associated with electric motor driven teaser line reels that are attached to the support housing. An electric switch arrangement accessible from the exterior of the housing is used to control operation of the motor drives for the reels. Teaser lines can be reeled in rapidly simply by tripping the motor control switches. The chamber in the support housing is maintained in watertight condition by the use of appropriate sealing devices and the housing is attachable to sport fishing boat superstructure.

Abstract: An adaptor arrangement that can be attached to many of the popular makes of "Deep Sea" fishing reels. The adaptor includes an electric motor with a convenient thumb operated switch and can be easily attached to the side member of a conventional fishing reel with no machine work necessary. When attached, the adaptor will provide power to the reel in the same manner as the hand crank.
