  • Patent number: 11436453
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for using augmented reality to create a printing template. The method includes capturing, using a camera of a mobile electronic device, a real world image of a surface. The method further includes, by a processor, receiving the real world image, processing the real world image to isolate and measure a portion of the surface on which print job content is to be applied, creating a printing template conforming to a shape and area of the isolated and measured portion of the surface, causing the real world image to be output on a display, and causing the display to output the printing template over the real world image, overlaid over the isolated and measured portion of the surface.

  • Publication number: 20210026502
Abstract: A system displays hierarchical data via a graphical user interface in two or more concentric ring structures. Each ring structure will display data from a unique data set. One of the data sets may be an earlier or later version of another one of the data set. Two or more ring structures will be presented so that when a user selects a cell of one ring, that cell will move to the center of both rings, and the displayed rings will be synchronized as the user navigates through the data.

  • Publication number: 20210026499
Abstract: A system displays hierarchical data via a graphical user interface in a concentric ring structure. Data elements of adjacent cells in any two rings will share a parent-child relationship. Data elements will be associated with metadata that the system uses to determine a visual representation, such as font type, color, or other features. As various filters are applied, the visual representation may change as the system applies the filter to the metadata.

  • Patent number: 10379726
Abstract: Moving a selected thumbnail image parallel to a linear strip of unselected thumbnail images within a preview electronic display, increases spacing between two of the adjacent thumbnail images, when the selected thumbnail image is positioned proximate them. In turn, spacing between other adjacent ones of the unselected thumbnail images returns to the original spacing, when the selected thumbnail image is not positioned proximate them. Methods and systems return the unselected thumbnail images to the original size in response to releasing the selected thumbnail image between two adjacent thumbnail images, within the movable thumbnail electronic display image, and this changes the linear strip of original size thumbnail images of the document pages from an original page order to a different order having the selected thumbnail image in a different location within the linear strip.

  • Patent number: 10073664
Abstract: A system for providing print device dynamic status indicator feedback includes a print device, and a status indicator feedback unit. The print device includes a print engine and one or more status monitors. The status indicator feedback unit includes a display device, a light emitting module, a processor in communication with the light emitting module, and a computer-readable medium containing programming instructions. The system may receive information corresponding to one or more current machine states of the print device from the one or more status monitors of the print device, determine a priority level associated with each of the one or more current machine states, identify a machine state associated with a highest priority level, identify a dynamic feedback pattern associated with the identified machine state. The dynamic feedback pattern includes a visual pattern. The system may and instruct the light emitting module to emit the visual pattern.

  • Patent number: 9917957
Abstract: A cropping electronic display image is provided in response to selection of an image crop menu option. The cropping electronic display image includes a geometric shape superimposed on the input image. Operation of the user input component changing position of at least one side of the geometric shape within the cropping electronic display image is detected to identify a selected cropped image area. Portions of the input image outside the selected cropped image area are removed to produce a cropped image, in response to completing the process of changing position of at least one side of the geometric shape. The cropped image and the cropped image area are enlarged to fit within the cropping electronic display image.

  • Patent number: 9774749
Abstract: A multifunction device (MFD) includes a print engine, power status monitors, and a user interface. The user interface is at least partially surrounded by a perimeter, and a first light emitting module is positioned to illuminate at least part of the perimeter. The MFD also includes a processor in communication with the first light emitting module and a computer-readable medium containing programming instructions. An MFD may detect a triggering event corresponding to a change in its power status. In response to detecting the triggering event, the MFD may receive information relating to a current power status of the MFD from the power status monitors, identify a dynamic feedback pattern associated with the triggering event, and instruct the first light emitting module to emit a first visual pattern. The dynamic feedback pattern includes the first visual pattern that provides information about the current power status of the MFD to a user.
