Abstract: A file folder including a base having two stripes formed on one edge and folded such that the outer stripe contacts the base, an opening formed in the middle portion of a middle stripe, a clip including a panel engageable on a lower portion of the base and another panel insertable into the opening of the middle stripe for clamping the outer stripe and the base together in order to hold sheets of paper between the outer stripe and the base.

Abstract: The present invention provides an automatic machine for making accordion data pockets, especially an automatic machine which is capable of bonding the inner leaf members, side cover members, and bottom member of an accordion data pocket together in one step. The machine is characterized by a fixed and a movable die seats, a top press die, two side press dies, two side boards, etc. The movable die seat has a plurality of cavities formed on its top surface, allowing index holders provided on each inner leaf member of the data pocket to insert in, and a plurality of properly and equally spaced partition plates vertically erected thereon. The fixed die seat has a plurality of properly and equally spaced positioning plates vertically erected thereon and each of the positioning plates has chamfers formed at its one vertical side and its top horizontal side.

Abstract: An envelope includes a face and a base having a side edge integrally formed together and having a bottom edge welded together. A slot is formed in an upper edge portion of the face. A flap is integrally formed on an upper edge portion of the base and an ear is formed in the flap. The ear is insertable through the slot of the face when the flap is folded and superposed upon the face so that the upper edge portions of the face and of the base can be clamped together and so that papers disposed within the envelope can be safely and stably retained in place.
