  • Publication number: 20120127330
Abstract: Provided is an image pickup device that enables distortion compensation with high precision. Exposure and reading are conducted on pixel rows that are discontinuous with respect to a vertical direction of an image pickup element, and multiple low resolution images are obtained. Each of these multiple low resolution images has a lower distortion than an ordinary image obtained by conducting an ordinary continuous exposure and reading. Therefore, output images with reduced distortion can be generated by using the low resolution images.

  • Patent number: 8072511
Abstract: An image signal subjected to three-dimensional noise reduction processing in a three-dimensional noise reduction processing portion is reduced by an electronic zoom portion, and is stored as a low-resolution image in a frame memory. The image signal stored in the frame memory is enlarged by an electronic zoom portion, and is fed to a three-dimensional noise reduction processing portion; it is then converted into an image signal having the same resolution as an image signal of a high-resolution image inputted from outside.

  • Patent number: 7010798
Abstract: A disk drive includes base with a spindle motor, first and second rockers and first and second sliders. The spindle motor has a turntable to mount a disk. The first and second rockers rock so as to pivot about fulcrums substantially parallel to the turntable. The first rocker pulls in the disk, inserted externally, to a position where the disk and motor have their centers aligned. The second rocker unloads the disk from the position to a point where the disk is exposed partially. The first and second sliders are engaged with the first and second rockers to make them pull in and unload the disk, respectively, and reciprocate substantially parallel to the turntable. The rockers and sliders are located under the turntable. The slider(s) support(s), raise(s) and lower(s) a side face of the base through the reciprocation.
