  • Publication number: 20110057578
Abstract: The present invention provides a pair of input terminals to which AC voltage is input, the AC voltage being phase-controlled by a dimmer for phase-controlling AC voltage of an AC source; a damping circuit which has a resistor inserted to a position, into which input current flows from the AC source via the dimmer in series, and a capacitor and an inductor which form a closed circuit together with the AC source and the dimmer, and suppresses high-frequency vibration generated in the dimmer when a phase control element of the dimmer is turned on; and an LED lighting circuit which rectifies AC voltage phase-controlled and input via the pair of input terminals, converts DC output voltage, which is obtained by rectification, so that the voltage adapts to a load, and lights the LED.

  • Publication number: 20100195271
Abstract: An electrolytic capacitor includes: a case including a case body, in which an electrolytic capacitor element is disposed in a sealed manner and filled up with an electrolytic solution, and a safety valve is mounted to the case body for jetting an evaporated gas of the electrolytic solution filling the electrolytic capacitor element; a cover member mounted to the case so as to cover the safety valve provided for the case; a first fixing unit mounted to the cover member so as to prevent the cover member from dismounting when the evaporated gas of the electrolytic solution is jetted outward; and a second fixing unit disposed in association with the first fixing unit and adopted to reinforce and assist a function of the first fixing unit to thereby prevent the cover member from being dismounted. An electric equipment includes a lighting circuit including circuit components, and an electrolytic capacitor of the structure mentioned above.

  • Patent number: 5629586
Abstract: A compact fluorescent lamp unit has a phosphor coated bulb of which first and second sealed end portions. A pair of filaments is disposed in the bulb. The filament contains an emitter for enhancing thermionic emission of electrons therefrom and is caused to be cut off by the self-generated heat when the emitter is substantially dissipated. The lamp device has an inverter circuit containing a resonant capacitor disposed between each one end of the filament coils to pass a resonant current through the capacitor during the operation of the lamp. The filament coil is substantially composed of a tungsten wire having a diameter corresponding to 8 MG though 12 MG and is normally operated with a lamp current ranging from 250 mA to 350 mA. The filament coil has a cold resistance ranging from 2 .OMEGA. to 4 .OMEGA. and an output voltage of the inverter circuit exhibits more than 260 volts when the fluorescent lamp is substituted by a resistor having 5 .OMEGA..
