  • Publication number: 20120314309
Abstract: An image-capturing lens (OU) can be positioned in the optical axis direction by causing a flange section of the image-capturing lens (OU) and a contact section (42a) of a barrel frame (40) to make contact with each other. Also, the image-capturing lens (OU) can be positioned in the direction intersecting the optical axis direction by causing a part of the entire circumference of the optical surface (S1) of the image-capturing lens (OU) to make contact with the opening (43) of the barrel frame (40). As a result, the light receiving surface of an image sensor (51) can be accurately positioned at the focal point of the image-capturing lens (OU) only by placing the barrel frame (40) on a base plate (52).

  • Publication number: 20120300320
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a lens unit including the steps of: forming a first lens array, having plural first lens sections and first reference surfaces formed in a predetermined arrangement, via glass forming by arranging a glass material between a first assembled molds and by clamping the molds; forming a second lens array, having plural second lens sections and second reference surfaces formed in a predetermined arrangement, via glass forming by arranging a glass material between a second assembled molds and by clamping the molds; forming a third lens array by stacking and bonding the first and second lens arrays so that an optical axis of each lens section of the first and second lens arrays coincide, by using the first and second reference surfaces; and cutting the third lens array into each lens unit which includes at least each one of the first and the second lens sections.

  • Publication number: 20120153518
Abstract: An invention for producing a wafer lens is disclosed in which a cured resin is prevented from having projection portions or unfilled sections. The method comprises a dispense step in which resin is dropped onto a die having plural cavities arranged to leave spaces therebetween, an alignment step in which the positions of the die and a glass substrate are adjusted, an imprint step in which one of the die and the glass substrate is pressed against the other, a curing step in which the resin is cured, and a release step in which the glass substrate is released from the die, the steps from the dispense step to the separation step being repeated as one cycle to successively form plastic lens portions on the glass substrate, wherein in the alignment step in each cycle, the cavities of the die are placed between the formed lens parts.

  • Patent number: 5204715
Abstract: A zoom camera being capable of changing a distance measuring direction to measure an object distance, and more particularly a camera which indicates the distance measuring direction overlapped on an object image in a view finder display. An object image is displayed in a finder display through an optical system, thereby the magnification of the object image in the view finder changes in accordance with a zooming of the camera. An indicator array is arranged on the view finder display, and the distance measuring direction is indicated by an activation of an indicator element of the indicator array located at a corresponding position to an object position in the distance measuring direction.

  • Patent number: 4575210
Abstract: An automatic focusing device comprises a motor operated by a range signal, a lens moving system in which a lens is moved by the motor, a clutch for engaging and disengaging the motor from the lens moving system and a power switch for the motor. A switchover member is provided which is selectively settable to a manual mode, and auto-focus mode and a focus-lock mode. The modes are changed over by a combination of an engagement or disengagement of the clutch by the switchover member and a switchover of the power switch (between ON and OFF) by the switchover member.

  • Patent number: 4545661
Abstract: A foldable camera for self-developing film comprises a base housing and a movable member pivotable between a closed position integrated with the housing and an open, elevated position above the housing. The movable member is mounted to a supporting member which is pivotally coupled to the housing at the end opposite from the film exit end of the housing. An objective lens and a reflex mirror are fixedly mounted to the movable member in fixed relationship to each other such that they are in the proper positions for film exposure when the movable member is pivotted to the elevated position.
