  • Patent number: 10455116
Abstract: An image processing device has a layout analyzing portion extracting a character region from image data, an OCR processing portion generating text data of characters in the character region, and a document file generating portion. The document file generating portion selects either a first generation process or a second generation process based on the size of the character region. The first generation process is a process of generating a document file having a text box including text data attached to it. The second generation process is a process of generating a document file by writing the text data directly in the document file without using the text box.

  • Patent number: 10409211
Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a toner supply section, an image forming section, a touch panel, a determining section, a calculating section, and a display section. The determining section determines whether a toner container mounted to the toner supply section is a first container or a second container which differs from the first container. The calculating section calculates a consumption amount of toner consumed for the image forming section to form an image on paper when the determining section determines that the toner container is the second container. The display section displays a ratio of a second consumption amount to a first consumption amount on the touch panel. The first consumption amount is a consumption amount of the toner when the toner container is the first container. The second consumption amount is a consumption amount of the toner when the toner container is the second container.

  • Patent number: 10291809
Abstract: An information processing apparatus (10) includes a processor capable of executing IP facsimile communication and a job other than the IP facsimile communication, a facsimile tone signal being transmitted/received as audio data in the IP facsimile communication; a storage (12) that stores a first or second level, which represents a mode for executing the IP facsimile communication; and a control unit (11) that determines whether the first or second level is stored in the storage, respectively selects a first mode and a second mode when determining that the first level and the second level are stored in the storage, and when receiving an execution instruction of the IP facsimile communication in the first mode and the second mode, respectively causes the processor to stop an uncompleted job and then preferentially execute the IP facsimile communication, and to execute an uncompleted job and the IP facsimile communication in parallel.

  • Publication number: 20080133936
Abstract: An input display device, including: a display area that displays a plurality of input keys; and a display controller that controls display of the plurality of input keys displayed in the display area. The display controller includes: a combination data creating portion that creates combination data of a first input key and a second input key which has been selected next to the first input key; a storage portion that stores the combination data in a memory; a candidate key extracting portion that extracts the second input key from the memory on the basis of the combination data stored in the memory when the first input key displayed on the display area is selected; and a display portion that allows the display area to display the second input key extracted by the candidate key extracting portion as a candidate which is to be selected next.
