  • Publication number: 20190128684
Abstract: An information providing system includes: a power-supplying vehicle; a plurality of power-receiving vehicles; and a server. The server is configured to generate a candidate power-supplying target list including information of the plurality of power-receiving requesting vehicles, and notify the candidate power-supplying target list to the power-supplying vehicle so as to make an inquiry to a user of the power-supplying vehicle to select any of the plurality of power-receiving requesting vehicle. The power-supplying vehicle having received this inquiry is configured to present locations of candidate power-supplying targets on a map screen and make a response to the server by notifying, to the server, a power-supplying target selected by the user. The server having received this response matches the power-supplying target notified from the power-supplying vehicle to the power-supplying vehicle, and notifies matching determination information to both the matched vehicles.

  • Publication number: 20190130661
Abstract: An information providing system includes: a plurality of vehicles; and a server configured to communicate with the plurality of vehicles. Each of the plurality of vehicles is configured to supply power to and receive power from another vehicle. The server performs a matching process for setting a power-supplying vehicle and a power-receiving vehicle from the plurality of vehicles and for matching the power-supplying vehicle and the power-receiving vehicle. The server prohibits setting, as the power-supplying vehicle in the matching process, a vehicle included in the plurality of vehicles and having a history that power has been received from another vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20190118665
Abstract: A power management system includes a plurality of power stations, a plurality of vehicles capable of exchanging power with any of the power stations, and a server configured to communicate with the plurality of vehicles and the plurality of power stations. When each power station receives power from the vehicle or supplies power to the vehicle, each power station associates a power amount received from the vehicle or a power amount supplied to the vehicle with a user ID of the vehicle, and transmits the power amount to the server. The server sets a value point based on the power amount received from the power station, and provides the value point to the user having the user ID associated with the power amount.

  • Publication number: 20170037769
Abstract: An engine cooling device includes: a water pump; a radiator; a first cooling water channel going through the radiator; a second cooling water channel not going through the radiator; a solenoid valve provided in the second cooling water channel; and a control unit. The control unit moves, at a time of closing the solenoid valve, a valve body in a valve closing direction while the cooling water is passing at a decreased flow rate so as to close the solenoid valve to cut off passage of the cooling water in the second cooling water channel.

  • Publication number: 20160090894
Abstract: A coolant control valve includes a valve body, a valve seat, a biasing member biasing the valve body to a side where the valve seat is positioned, a solenoid making the valve body and the valve seat contact with each other, a control portion controlling an energization condition of the solenoid, and a blockage inhibition mechanism. The valve body and the valve seat are provided at a flow passage of a fluid, the valve body and the valve seat including magnetic bodies for controlling a flow of the fluid by coming in contact with each other and by being away from each other. The valve body includes a through hole into which the fluid flows in a state where the valve body is in contact with the valve seat. The blockage inhibition mechanism inhibits an extraneous material within the fluid from blocking the through hole.

  • Patent number: 4926332
Abstract: A locking device for vehicles includes a card including a microprocessor and a transmitter for generating and transmitting commands for locking and unlocking the doors of a motor vehicle. A lock control device includes a microprocessor and a receiver for receiving the commands transmitted by the lock command device. The lock control device will only carry out a receive command if the command is applied to a specific motor vehicle and the motor vehicle is in the proper state to implement the command. Change data is generated by the lock control device and transmitted to the lock command device to change the value of the next subsequent lock command so that the lock command can be uniquely identified with the motor vehicle.

  • Patent number: 4884207
Abstract: The present invention relates to a start controller for an engine of a vehicle comprising fuel supply means for supplying fuel to the engine at current flowing time, an electric driver for flowing a current to the fuel supply means, control means for holding a specific code, comparing an input code with the specific code to judge the coincidence and instructing to flow a current to the driver when both coincide; and means for inputting the code to the control means. Thus, the start controller can prevent the vehicle from being stolen.

  • Patent number: 4796151
Abstract: An ignition system for vehicle includes switching means which is turned on in response to a given code input. The switching means may be connected in a supply line which provides a connection between a primary coil of an ignition circuit and a storage battery mounted on a vehicle, in a ground line which provides a connection between the primary coil and the electrical ground of a vehicle, or in an energization control line which provides a connection between the base of a switching transistor, acting to pass or interrupt the primary current flow, and its associated base driver, each line being disposed in an ignition circuit. The code may be entered through numerical keys, a combination of a key code emitter and a key code receiver, or a combination of a key card and a card reader. The ignition circuit is completed by allowing the switching means to be turned on only when a code entered matches a specific code which is previously stored.

  • Patent number: 4621223
Abstract: A system is disclosed for energizing an electric motor for forward or reverse rotation, which motor operative to open or close a side window pane of a door or a sun roof panel of an automobile. The motor is energized for forward or reverse rotation in accordance with the status of a pressure sensitive switch which is mounted on a window frame to detect the presence of an object or hand and an operation of up/down command changeover switches. If the presence of an object is detected by the sensor during the forward rotation of the motor which is effective to close the window pane, a self-hold circuit is triggered or set, and the motor is energized for reverse rotation. The motor is deenergized at a given time interval after the sensor has ceased to detect the object. The motor remains at rest as long as the self-hold circuit is set. In certain embodiments, the self-hold circuit is reset when up command changeover switch is moved from its up position to its non-operative position.
