  • Publication number: 20190077926
Abstract: A fluororubber composition and a crosslinked fluororubber product include substantially no oxide of a divalent metal, hydroxide of a divalent metal, or carbonate of a divalent metal, and comprise graphite having an average particle diameter of 4 ?m to 20 ?m or a pitch-based carbon fiber having an average fiber length of 0.04 to 0.15 mm, as a filler in a peroxide-crosslinkable fluororubber. Preferably, the graphite is included in the range of 5 phr by weight to 50 phr by weight, or the pitch-based carbon fiber is included in the range of 5 phr by weight to 50 phr by weight, per 100 phr by weight of the fluororubber.

  • Publication number: 20180127571
Abstract: A fluororubber composition that can provide a vulcanizate having excellent blister resistance, comprising 10 to 100 parts by weight of wollastonite surface-treated with a silane coupling agent and having an aspect ratio of 2 or more, and 0.5 to 10 parts by weight of a polyol-based crosslinking agent, based on 100 parts by weight of fluororubber comprising 60 to 100 wt. % of a solid fluororubber polymer and 40 to 0 wt. % of a liquid fluororubber polymer. It is preferable that 30 to 70 wt. % of wollastonite surface-treated with a silane coupling agent is replaced by wollastonite not surface-treated with a silane coupling agent, in terms of both ensuring of blister resistance and cost.

  • Patent number: 9228153
Abstract: Disclosed is a surface-treating agent for oil seal lip portion, comprising a lubricant filler and an adduct compound consisting of an adduct of toluene diisocyanate and trimethylolpropane, the surface-treating agent being applied to the surface of vulcanized rubber forming a lip portion of an oil seal comprising the lip portion and a metal ring. The application of the surface-treating agent of the present invention to the sliding surface of a seal lip portion of an oil seal effectively lengthens the service life of the oil seal, when used in a sliding part or a moving part, and leads to energy saving of equipment that uses the oil seal.

  • Patent number: 7789396
Abstract: This invention provides an oil seal that can maintain an excellent friction reduction function over a long period of time, has excellent abrasion resistance, and further has excellent sealing properties. The oil seal comprises a seal lip (4) formed of a rubber-like elastic material comprising a lip edge part (9) and an air-side slope (8) and a sealing fluid-side slope (10) provided on both sides of the lip edge part (9). The air-side slope (8) has a coating film (14) on its surface. In the lip edge part (9) in its portion in contact with a shaft (13), a sealing fluid-side rubber part (2?) and an air-side coating film (14) are simultaneously brought into contact with the shaft (13). The coating film (14) is preferably formed of a coating agent comprising a fluororesin, a polyethylene resin, an isocyanate-modified polybutadiene resin, and a solvent.
