  • Patent number: 10067742
Abstract: Arithmetic operation circuits and a verification circuit are formed by loading configuration information into a configuration memory in an FPGA. Arithmetic operation circuits have the same arithmetic operation function, but are different from each other in combination of the circuit blocks. The arithmetic operation circuits are formed by combining the circuit blocks to make the maximum use of the DSP block, while the arithmetic operation circuit is formed by combining the circuit blocks other than DSP block. The arithmetic operation circuits each are configured to use a block RAM as the data hold memory, while the arithmetic operation circuit is configured to use a distributed RAM as the data hold memory. Each of the arithmetic operation circuits receives the input data, and outputs arithmetic operation result data (V1 to V3). A verification circuit compares the arithmetic operation result data to verify whether errors occur.

  • Patent number: 9823639
Abstract: A control arithmetic device controls so that an approval-receiving device displays a content of a new control program that the control arithmetic device received from the editing device. The approval-receiving device receives input of approval information that indicates whether a change of a control program is approved or not from an manager. The control arithmetic device changes the control program to the new control program in the case where the approval information received from the approval-receiving device indicates approval of the control program.

  • Patent number: 9753437
Abstract: A safety device includes a first computation unit, a second computation unit, an output control unit, and a first central processing device. The first computation unit is configured to perform a first computation on a detected value detected from a subject to be controlled, thus obtaining a first result value. The second computation unit is configured to perform a second computation on the detected value, thus obtaining a second result value which is to be determined if equal to the first result value. The output control unit is configured to output the first result value in a case that the second computation unit determines that the first result value is equal to the second result value, and not to output the first result value in a case that the second computation unit determines that the first result value is not equal to the second result value.
