  • Patent number: 11333577
Abstract: An abnormality diagnosis method of a rolling bearing used in rotating machinery includes: a time acquisition step of acquiring, from an output signal detected by a sensor during the rotation of the rolling bearing, an entry time when a rolling element enters a flaking region of a bearing ring, and an escape time when the rolling element escapes from the flaking region of the bearing ring; and an estimation step of estimating a flaking size based on a flaking passage time, which is a time difference between the entry time and the escape time. When the bearing ring receives repeated load from the rolling element, the progress of the flaking occurring in the bearing ring can be quantitatively evaluated.

  • Patent number: 7686516
Abstract: An encoder 12 a characteristic of which is changed alternately at an equal interval in a circumferential direction is supported/fixed onto a hub 4 concentrically with the hub 4. A sensing portion of a sensor 13 supported on the outer ring 3 is positioned in close vicinity to a sensed surface of the encoder 12 to face thereto. Width dimensions of first and second sensed portions provided onto the sensed surface are changed continuously in a direction along which a to-be-sensed load is applied. Since a pattern according to which an output signal of the sensor 13 is changed is changed pursuant to a change of the load, the load is derived by observing this pattern. The output signal is also utilized to sense a rotation speed of the hub 4 in ABS or TCS control.

  • Patent number: 6681165
Abstract: A control device which: controls a motor based upon a steering assist instruction value calculated in a steering assist command operating section based upon a steering torque generated in a steering shaft and a current control value calculated from a current value of the motor for applying a steering assist force to a steering mechanism; and at least partially possesses a gradient when a gain curve of characteristics of an entire control system having the steering assist command value as its input exceeds a predetermined value. The steering assist command value operating section is composed of an approximation functional expression in which a one-step derived function is continuous, and the steering assist command value is obtained by calculations based upon the approximation functional expression.

  • Publication number: 20020056587
Abstract: A control device for an electric power steering apparatus, which controls a motor based upon a steering assist instruction value calculated in a steering assist instruction calculating section based upon a steering torque generated in a steering shaft and a current control value calculated from a current value of the motor for applying a steering assist force to a steering mechanism, and has a gain curve of characteristics of the entire control system having the steering assist instruction value as its input, which at least partially possesses a gradient exceeding a predetermined value, and in this arrangement, the steering assist instruction value calculating unit is composed of an approximation functional expression in which at least one-step derived functions are continuous, and the steering assist instruction value is found through calculations based upon the approximation functional expression.
