Patent number: 7287562Abstract: A vessel mouth gasket unit is fitted around the outer periphery of a valve body which is internally formed with a filled liquid passage. A first gasket having a smaller diameter and a second gasket having a larger diameter is mounted on the lower surface of the unit. The filling valve is made up of a liquid valve opening and closing air cylinder which opens and closes a liquid valve 8 disposed in the filled liquid passage, and a vessel mouth gasket auxiliary air cylinder which urges the unit downward. The valve body has an outer diameter which is greater than the aperture diameter of a bottle-like first type vessel and less than the aperture diameter of a second type vessel having a larger aperture. The operating pressure of the auxiliary air cylinder is controllable and the filling operation takes place by urging the gasket against the first vessel with a low load and by urging the gasket against the second type vessel with a high load.Type: GrantFiled: February 15, 2005Date of Patent: October 30, 2007Assignee: Shibuya Kogyo Co., Ltd.Inventors: Katsunori Tanikawa, Shinya Kamori, Futoshi Konishi, Kenichi Tsukano

Publication number: 20050178466Abstract: A vessel mouth gasket unit 32 is fitted around the outer periphery of a valve body 2 which is internally formed with a filled liquid passage 4. A first gasket 38 having a smaller diameter and a second gasket 40 having a larger diameter is mounted on the lower surface of the unit 32. The filling valve comprises a liquid valve opening and closing air cylinder 16 which opens and closes a liquid valve 8 disposed in the filled liquid passage 4, and a vessel mouth gasket auxiliary air cylinder 42 which urges the unit 32 downward. The valve body 2 has an outer diameter D0 which is greater than the aperture diameter D1 of the bottle-like first type vessel B and less than the aperture diameter D2 of the second type vessel C having a larger aperture such as a canister. An operating pressure of the auxiliary air cylinder 42 is controllable and the filling operation takes place by urging the gasket 38 against the first vessel B with a low load and by urging the gasket 40 against the second type vessel C with a high load.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 15, 2005Publication date: August 18, 2005Inventors: Katsunori Tanikawa, Shinya Kamori, Futoshi Konishi, Kenichi Tsukano

Patent number: 6817386Abstract: A liquid passage 4 for filling which communicates with a liquid supply piping 6 for filling is formed within a valve housing 2 and carries a filling nozzle 31 at its lower end. The liquid passage 4 is opened or closed by a liquid valve. A packing 38 which seals the mouth of a vessel B, a cylinder 42 which elevates the packing 38, a flow meter 33 which detects a filled content of the liquid which is filled into the vessel B, and an exhaust passage 44 formed in the valve housing 2 are provided. The exhaust passage 44 has an opening disposed toward the vessel which is disposed outside an opening of the filling nozzle 31, and the opening of the filling nozzle 31 is maintained above the elevation of the liquid level which is filled into the vessel B during the filling operation. The filling valve assures a sanitary excellence and is usable with vessels B of differing sizes and shapes.Type: GrantFiled: October 16, 2003Date of Patent: November 16, 2004Assignee: Shibuya Kogyo Co., Ltd.Inventors: Kenichi Tsukano, Katsunori Tanikawa, Taro Kitayama

Patent number: 6601618Abstract: A filling apparatus 1 is made up of a gas passage 14 connected to a storage tank 31 via a connection passage 14a, a first gas valve 35 that opens and closes the gas passage, a pressure gas passage 41 connected to a pressure gas supply source, a pressure gas valve 42 that opens and closes the pressure gas passage, an exhaust passage 43 that allows an interior of a container 4 to communicate with the exterior thereof, and an exhaust valve 44 that opens and closes the exhaust passage. With this filling apparatus, before a pressurized filling operation, both the gas passage and the pressure gas passage are opened to pressurize the interior of the container with a carbonated gas supplied through both passages. Further, also before a unpressurized filling operation, both the gas passage and the pressure gas passage are opened to perform a flushing operation in which droplets are discharged from the gas passage with air exhausted from the container into the storage tank via the gas passage.Type: GrantFiled: March 4, 2002Date of Patent: August 5, 2003Assignee: Shibuya Kogyo Co., Ltd.Inventors: Kenichi Tsukano, Masaaki Eda, Shinya Kamori, Katsunori Tanikawa

Patent number: 6308752Abstract: In a filler, a preliminary substitution in which a carbonate gas within a storage tank is substituted into a vessel interior takes place by opening a first gas discharge valve and a first gas valve, followed by a proper substitution in which a genuine carbonate gas in a chamber is substituted into the vessel interior by opening a second gas valve and the first gas discharge valve while closing the first gas valve, and subsequently followed by a pressurization in which the vessel interior is pressurized to the same pressure as in the storage tank by opening the second gas valve while closing the first gas discharge valve. Subsequently, a liquid valve is opened as the second gas valve is closed and the first gas valve is opened to fill the vessel with a liquid while discharging the genuine carbonate gas in the vessel into the storage tank. In this manner, a filling operation can take place while a carbonate gas of a higher concentration than the conventional practice is substituted into the vessel interior.Type: GrantFiled: August 30, 2000Date of Patent: October 30, 2001Assignee: Shibuya Kogyo Co., Ltd.Inventors: Kenichi Tsukano, Katsunori Tanigawa
