    Abstract: According to an embodiment, a magnetic disk device includes a magnetic disk, a spindle motor that rotates the magnetic disk, a motor driver, and a controller. The motor driver supplies a motor current to the spindle motor and measures a counter electromotive voltage of the spindle motor every time the spindle motor makes one rotation. After the rotation of the magnetic disk starts, the controller adjusts a motor position where the counter electromotive voltage is measured to a set first position.

    Abstract: According to one embodiment, a disk device includes a recording medium, a suspension, a magnetic head, an actuator, a circuit board, an FPC, a preamplifier, and an actuator driver. The magnetic head and the actuator are mounted on the suspension. The circuit board includes a control circuit. The FPC is connected to the suspension and the circuit board. The preamplifier is mounted on the FPC, outputs a write signal, to the magnetic head, corresponding to information to be written to the recording medium by the magnetic head, and receives, from the magnetic head, a read signal corresponding to information read from the recording medium by the magnetic head. The actuator driver is mounted apart from the preamplifier on the FPC, the actuator driver that outputs a drive signal for driving the actuator to the actuator.

    Abstract: An image projecting apparatus includes: a receiving unit that receives a projection target image; a generating unit that generates an entire image including the projection target image received by the receiving unit; a projecting unit that projects the entire image generated by the generating unit; a detecting unit that detects a distribution of distances up to projection portions to which the entire image projected by the projecting unit is actually projected; and a specifying unit that specifies a projection target plane to which the projection target image is projected based on the distribution of the distances detected by the detecting unit. The generating unit generates the entire image so that the entire projection target image included in the entire image projected by the projecting unit is projected to the entire projection target plane specified by the specifying unit.
