  • Patent number: 10294961
Abstract: A cylindrical case main body, and a connecting ring body fitted and fixed to a first end of the case main body and having an annular groove open in the centrifugal direction, are provided. The connecting ring body has a notch open to a side opposite to a second end of the case main body. Into the notch of the connecting ring body, a reinforcement body is fitted, and the reinforcement body has an arc-shaped groove continuing to the annular groove of the connecting ring body in a state where the reinforcement body is fitted into the notch of the connecting ring body. In addition to attaining high rigidity, reduction in weight and reduction in manufacturing cost can also be achieved.

  • Patent number: 10280939
Abstract: A cylindrical case body made of a composite material; a linking ring made of aluminum, fitted and fixed to a rear end portion of the case body and having an annular groove which receives a reverse thrust load from a reverse thrust transmission body; and ring constituent bodies made of titanium alloy, each of which is placed in the rear end portion of the case body and has an arcuate groove which undertakes a reverse thrust load larger than that received by the linking ring, are provided in a fan case. The ring constituent bodies are fitted in notches of the linking ring and are brought into contact with outward receiving walls of the linking ring. The ring constituent bodies are positioned relative to the case body in the axis direction and in the radial direction, and the annular groove and the arcuate grooves continue to each other.

  • Publication number: 20160290360
Abstract: A cylindrical case body made of a composite material; a linking ring made of Al, which is fitted and fixed to a rear end portion of the case body and has an annular groove which receives a reverse thrust load from a reverse thrust transmission body; and ring constituent bodies made of Ti alloy, each of which is placed in the rear end portion of the case body and has an arcuate groove which undertakes a reverse thrust load larger than that received by the linking ring, are included. The ring constituent bodies are fitted in notches of the linking ring and are brought into contact with, and are fixed to, outward receiving walls of the linking ring, whereby the ring constituent bodies are positioned relative to the case body in the axis direction and in the radial direction respectively, and the annular groove and the arcuate grooves are allowed to continue to each other. The ring constituent bodies made of Ti alloy, which receive a large reverse thrust load, can be placed with high positioning accuracy.

  • Patent number: 4840557
Abstract: A vertical injection apparatus is incorporated with a parting mold including upper and lower mold halves and defining a cavity to be filled with a melt. The lower mold half has a vertical sleeve hole at the outer side thereof and a vertical melt passage hold communicating between the cavity and the sleeve hole. The upper mold half has a vertically extending pin hole coaxial with the melt passage hole and open to the cavity and provided with a vertically extending mold pin movable through the pin hole. At least an upper part of the melt passage hole in the vicinity of the cavity has a diameter smaller than that of the sleeve hole but slightly large than the of the mold pin. Preferably, the cavity is designed for a disk wheel having a central hole through which the mold pin is allowed to pass, and the lower mold half forms a contoured inner surface corresponding to a decorated surface of the disk wheel.

  • Patent number: 4779667
Abstract: A degassing apparatus for a metal mold comprises a valve body and a bypass. The valve body is slidably provided between an end of a vent groove communicating with a metal mold cavity and a valve opening/closing portion before an exhaust hole. When a molten metal flowing from the cavity acts on a surface of the valve body, the valve body moves toward the exhaust hole and blocks a path toward the exhaust hole. The bypass bypasses a valve head of the valve body from the vent groove and guides gas to the exhaust hole. The valve head of the valve body has a substantially head-cutting conical outer shape projecting in the direction of the vent groove. The vent groove has a gas vent path extending from a top portion to the vicinity of the base of the valve head along an outer surface of the valve head. An end portion of the gas vent path corresponding to the base of the valve head communicates with a start portion of the bypass which bypasses the valve head.
