Abstract: According to one embodiment, an information processing apparatus includes a processing circuit. The processing circuit generates each of keywords stored in a frequently asked question (FAQ) collection as an utterance sentence. The processing circuit generates dialogue data for each of the keywords, the dialogue data generated by performing a dialogue for each of the keywords at least once, the dialogue obtained by generating a response sentence to the utterance sentence based on a result of searching the FAQ collection by use of the utterance sentence. The processing circuit generates aggregation data representing how often each of the keywords is used in the dialogue, based on the dialogue data.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, a dialogue apparatus includes a processing circuit. The processing circuit designates one database from among a plurality of databases. The processing circuit extracts a keyword from text information. The processing circuit searches the designated database and another database which is included in the plurality of databases and which is other than the designated database, by using the keyword. The processing circuit generates a response in accordance with a first number of hit items, which is a number of data items matching the keyword in the designated database, and a second number of hit items, which is a number of data items matching the keyword in said another database.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, a speech recognition apparatus includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry generates, based on sensor information, environmental information relating to an environment in which the sensor information has been acquired, generates, based on the environmental information and generic speech data, an adapted acoustic model obtained by adapting a base acoustic model to the environment, acquires speech uttered in the environment as input speech data, and subjects the input speech data to a speech recognition process using the adapted acoustic model.

Abstract: The orientation and/or position estimation system includes: a movable operating unit configured to be held by a user and having an image capturing section; and a stereoscopic image providing unit including a display portion configured to display a stereoscopic image, a contact portion configured to come into contact with a part of a face of a user who is viewing the stereoscopic image, and a detection subject portion configured to be captured by the image capturing section. Abstract: According to one embodiment, an interactive system includes following units. The knowledge reference unit refers to a question-answering knowledge based on a result of analyzing an input sentence to acquire a candidate for an answer to the input sentence. The unknown keyword detection unit detects, from the input sentence, an unknown keyword. The related keyword estimation unit acquires, in response to the detection of the unknown keyword, one or more candidates for a related keyword having a meaning close to the unknown keyword from predetermined keywords. The response generation unit generates a response to the input sentence based on the one or more candidates for the related keyword when the unknown keyword is detected.
