  • Patent number: 9958265
Abstract: A specimen measuring device includes: a light source device that irradiates a specimen surface of a specimen with illumination light from multiple illumination units at a plurality of illumination angles; a spectral camera device that is arranged above the specimen surface, spectrally separates reflected light from the specimen surface, and acquires 2D spectral information through a single image capturing operation; and a calculating unit that calculates deflection angle spectral information of the specimen surface used to measure a measurement value of a certain evaluation item of the specimen using a change in an optical geometrical condition of an illumination direction and an image capturing direction between pixels in an X axis direction and a Y axis direction of the spectral information.

  • Patent number: 9501854
Abstract: A color sample image generator, a color-sample generator, and a color sample generation method are provided. The color-sample image generator produces a color sample, and lightness of every pixel of a first area of a first image from which the color sample is to be extracted is measured and all the pixels are arranged in a second area of a second image that is different from the first area based on lightness level. The color-sample generator and the color-sample generation method includes obtaining all pixels of a first area of a first image from which a color sample is to be extracted, measuring a level of lightness of each of the obtained pixels of the first area, and rearranging each of the pixels whose lightness has been measured in a second area of a second image that is different from the first area.

  • Publication number: 20090232351
Abstract: An authentication method performed by an authentication device to authenticate a user includes an authentication-use image generating step of generating an authentication-use image including authentication-use information corresponding to an image expressing one or more characters and/or symbols which is provided on a background, wherein an edge formed by a difference in image density does not exist between the background and the image expressing the characters and/or the symbols; an authentication-use image presenting step of presenting, to the user, the authentication-use image generated at the authentication-use image generating step; and an authentication step of performing authentication by comparing character and/or symbol information input by the user based on the authentication-use image presented at the authentication-use image presenting step, with the characters and/or the symbols in the authentication-use image.

  • Patent number: 7529401
Abstract: An image processing apparatus includes an image input unit that inputs binocular stereoscopic image data including plane image data for both eyes from an arbitrarily set viewpoint, a plane-image creating unit that creates plane image data based on the binocular stereoscopic image data, a distance determining unit that determines distances from a single viewpoint at the time of viewing a binocular stereoscopic image based on the binocular stereoscopic image data to each of a plurality of points in a three-dimensional space, an image correcting unit that corrects the plane image data using distance information about the each of the points in the three-dimensional space, and an image output unit that outputs the plane image data.

  • Patent number: 7483563
Abstract: Technology is provided for changing one or more image attributes pertaining to depth perception in a two-dimensional image to emphasize the perceived stereoscopy of the two-dimensional image and achieve a sensation upon viewing the two-dimensional image that is close to a sensation perceived from viewing a binocular stereoscopic image. Binocular stereoscopic image data including image data from two perspectives, for right vision and left vision, are input. A user selects the preferred one of the right vision image data and the left vision image data using an image selection unit, a planar image generating unit extracts the selected image data from the binocular stereoscopic image data, and an image output unit outputs the extracted planar image data.

  • Publication number: 20070198636
Abstract: A server that manages a distribution of a file and at least two client devices including a first client device that requests the file and a second client device that transfers the file are connected via a network. The second client device includes a storing unit to store the file, and a transferring unit that transfers the file to the first client device. The server includes a managing unit that manages the file, a distributing unit that distributes the file in response to a request from the first client device, and a reward managing unit that manages a reward for the second client device that participated in a transfer of the file.
