  • Patent number: 10740589
Abstract: A skin information processing method for a skin information processing device that includes a storage portion includes include acquiring an image, and determining a base point that represents a sweat pore on a ridge of skin, from the acquired image and acquiring position information corresponding to a position of the base point on the image. The skin information processing method includes acquiring sample information indicating changes in color information around the determined base point, generating, as frequency information, information associating frequency components of the acquired sample information with the position information. The skin information processing method includes causing the storage portion to store information including the generated frequency information and the position information of the base point, as information used in skin authentication.

  • Patent number: 10740590
Abstract: A skin information processing method for a skin information processing device that includes a storage portion includes acquiring an image, determining a plurality of base points from the acquired image, and acquiring position information, for the each of the plurality of base points, corresponding to a position of the base point on the acquired image. Each of the plurality of base points representing a sweat pore on a ridge of skin. The skin information processing method includes extracting a plurality of base points disposed on a same continuous ridge, generating ridge information including, for each of a plurality of extracted base points, the position information and an arrangement order on the ridge, and causing the storage portion to store the generated ridge information, as information to be used in skin authentication.

  • Patent number: 10733416
Abstract: A processor of an information processing device acquires an image, determines base point from the image, and acquires first position information of the base point. The processor determines a reference direction indicating characteristics of color information of a section of the image around the base point. The processor acquires a sample for each of a plurality of reference points acquired sequentially in accordance with a predetermined condition from a starting point determined on the basis of the base point and the reference direction. The processor calculates as frequency information, frequency components of changes in the color information with respect to the second position information for the plurality of samples, using a linear prediction coefficient calculated using a Yule-Walker method without applying a window function. The processor causes the memory to store information associating the frequency information, the first position information and the reference direction, as collation information.

  • Patent number: 10430629
Abstract: A computer-readable medium and an information processing device are provided that are capable of generating collation information that is unlikely to be affected by acquisition conditions of biometric information. An image is acquired (S1), and a base point is determined from the image (S2). Sample information indicating a change in color information of a surrounding area of the base point is acquired (S3). The sample information is information that associates a plurality of samples with center information corresponding to positions on the image of first reference points. The sample is information that associates color information of second reference points with position information of the second reference points. Based on the acquired sample information, frequency information is generated (S4). The frequency information associates the center information with a frequency component of a change in the color information with respect to the position information calculated for each of the first reference points.

  • Patent number: 7310433
Abstract: An overlapped portion of a plurality of partial images of a fingerprint that are input from a fingerprint input device (7) is corrected to be reconfigured at a reconfiguration process section (106). The characteristics are extracted from the input partial images at the fingerprint characteristic information extracting section (110) and the extracted characteristic information is stored in an input characteristic information memory. A verification process section executes DP comparison (dynamic programming method) between the characteristic information stored in the input characteristic information memory and the characteristic information stored in the registered characteristic information memory. The distance value obtained by the DP comparison is compared to a threshold that is previously set. If the distance value is smaller than the threshold, it is judged the fingerprint is identified and if the distance value is larger than the threshold, it is judged that the fingerprint is not identified.
