When the first input is received, a portion of the shared material displayed in the first display area is changed from the first portion to a second portion of the shared material. When a second input is received to a position outside the second display area, an annotation corresponding to the second input is displayed to be superimposed on the first portion in the first display area.

Scheduled change time, at which a setting of an encoding condition is expected to be changed, is further determined. Change timing, at which the setting of an encoding condition is to be changed, is determined on the basis of the scheduled change time and the estimated time. The setting of the encoding condition may then be changed in accordance with the available bandwidth when the change timing is reached.
