    Abstract: In a surface light source device frame, an amount of light that leaks from an outer peripheral surface of the frame can be decreased while a decrease in luminance is suppressed in an emission surface. The frame includes a rectangular frame main body made of a black resin and an auxiliary member made of a white resin. In inner peripheral surfaces of both lateral sides of the frame main body, fitting portions are provided in an end portion on a side farther away from the light source in the frame main body in order to fit the leg portions. The auxiliary member is attached to the inner peripheral surface on the side farther away from the light source in the frame main body while the leg portions are fitted in the fitting portions.
