  • Patent number: 10043359
Abstract: A monitoring area is scanned by an area sensor device (e.g., an optical distance meter) detects objects. Moving objects are identified among the detected objects, and, among the identified moving objects, a moving object which is present in the monitoring area and which has been newest identified is set as a tracking target. The moving object which has been set at the tracking target is automatically tracked by a camera device. As a result, even if there are present a plurality of moving objects in the monitoring area, tracking targets can be switched from one to another, so that it is possible to designate, as a tracking target, a moving object desired by an observer.

  • Patent number: 9905096
Abstract: In a monitoring apparatus, a monitoring area is scanned by an area sensor device to detect objects. Moving objects are identified among the detected objects, and, among the identified moving objects, a moving object which is the closest to a priority monitoring object which is preset in the monitoring area is set as a tracking target. The object which is set to be tracked is automatically tracked by a camera device. As a result, even if there are present a plurality of moving objects in the monitoring area, tracking targets are switched from one to another, so that it is possible to set a moving object desired by an observer.

  • Patent number: 8569609
Abstract: To utilize solar energy without loosing the laminating function. For this purpose, there is provided an electric generation system for generating an electric power utilizing solar energy falling on a transparent plate 7 dividing a predetermined interior space 8 from an exterior space, characterized in that the transparent plate 7 is provided with a thin plate-like or film-like thermal generation module 11, which is transmissive to at least a portion of visible rays in the solar energy, and which generates an electromotive force by a temperature difference between a temperature in the interior space and a temperature in the exterior space. Consequently, electric power can be generated utilizing heat resulting from blocking the light entering into the interior space 8.

  • Patent number: 8220284
Abstract: A heat storage device that includes a first heat storage material and a second heat storage material, both of which accumulate heat by heat exchange with a heat afferent medium, and a changeover device that selectively either performs or intercepts heat storage by the second heat storage material. Accordingly, if the absorption of heat by the first heat storage material has decreased, the changeover device changes flow of the second heat storage material so that heat may be extracted from the heat afferent medium by the second heat storage medium. Thus, when the heat afferent medium is a refrigerant, it is possible to supercool the refrigerant thereof. Furthermore, since heat is extracted from the heat afferent medium and is accumulated, accordingly it is possible to anticipate effective utilization thereof.

Abstract: In a heat exchange device, a plate-shaped tube (4) in which a plurality of channels (10) through which a first or second thermal medium (2), (3) flows are formed is disposed in a thermal storage material (5) that exchanges heat with the first or second thermal medium (2), (3), and the plate-shaped tube (4) is formed by joining two plates into a laminated form. Each plate has a plurality of elongated projections (8A, 9A) that protrude away from the mating faces of the plates and have hollows formed therein, and a plurality of flat portions (8B, 9B) between the projections. Openings of the hollows formed in one of the plates are closed by the corresponding flat portions of the other plate so that the hollows provide the channels.
