  • Patent number: 10184732
Abstract: An air to air heat exchanger includes a first and a second cooling air flow passage extending over a core depth of the heat exchanger. A heated air flow passage is arranged between the cooling air flow passages, and extends over a first percentage of the core depth. Thermally conductive separators are arranged between the heated air flow passage and each of the cooling air flow passages. A first structurally reinforced section is provided between the separators, and extends from a cooling air inlet face in the core depth direction over a second percentage of the core depth. A second structurally reinforced section is provided between the separators, and extends from a cooling air outlet face in the core depth direction over a third percentage of the core depth. The sum of the first, second, and third percentages is greater than 100 percent.

  • Patent number: 8030458
Abstract: An IgG1? monoclonal antibody to the immunosuppressive drug tacrolimus has improved properties. In particular, this monoclonal antibody, designated 1H6, has reduced cross-reactivity to several tacrolimus metabolites. This antibody is suitable for performance of immunoassays such as homogeneous immunoassays to detect or determine the presence or concentration of tacrolimus in samples such as blood samples. The invention further includes derivatives of tacrolimus derivatized at a non-binding portion of the molecule useful in immunizing antibody-producing animals and in producing such monoclonal antibodies, as well as labeled derivatives of tacrolimus useful as tacrolimus analogues in such assays. The invention further includes immunoassay methods for the detection of tacrolimus and test kits useful in performing such immunoassays.

  • Publication number: 20050058535
Abstract: A compact rotary compressor unit within internal intercooling includes a rotary shaft (10) with at least one compressor wheel (14,16) mounted thereon for rotation therewith. The compressor wheel (14,16) has an inlet end (18) of relatively small diameter and a radial discharge end (20) of relatively large diameter. A nominally donut-shaped intercooling heat exchanger (42) is centered about the shaft (10) to receive compressed air from the compressor wheel and cool the same. Both the compressor wheel (14,16) and the heat exchanger (42) are confined in a housing (28).
