  • Publication number: 20230136415
Abstract: A spinal jack adapted for installation between first and second vertebral processes, including first and second inter-expandable jack halves arranged between retracted and expanded positions. Each of the jack halves further includes gripping portions adapted for engaging the vertebral processes. A worm gear mechanism provides for expanding or retracting the jack halves in order to establish a corrected adjusted orientation between the processes and includes each of stationary rotatable slave gears along with support stems with integrated worm gear interfaces for expanding the jack halves relative to each other.

  • Publication number: 20220009141
Abstract: An assembly for forming a structural, insulating or decorative article as any of a roll, sheet, board or panel and including a width extending die and extruding nozzle for issuing a flowable polymeric material having either of a solid or ribbed cross sectional profile and including any of a polyurethane, a polypropylene or any other polymeric material. At least a pair of opposing and rotating pinch rollers are arranged for receiving therebetween the flowable material. A material roll simultaneously feeds a material layer between the rollers and against the flowable polymer material at a given pressure to cause the polymeric material to fuse and embed within the material layer. The material separate material layer can further include any structural panel, multi-panel or pallet style construction, such including both solid and interiorly hollowed/corrugated constructions.

  • Patent number: 4782565
Abstract: An air processing apparatus is disclosed having a feed roll pulling yarn from a source and feeding it to an air entangler at a feed rate. The yarn is entangled by a high pressure air stream in the air entangler, and a delivery roll pulls the yarn from the entangler at a delivery rate. The rolls are driven independently and independent controls are provided to independently vary the feed rate and the delivery rate to achieve a desired overfeed or underfeed of the yarn. A display shows the ratio of the feed rate to the delivery rate. A slub making apparatus feeds yarn to the entangler from a second source of yarn and includes a tensioner for tensioning the yarn as it is fed to the air entangler. An actuator selectively releases tension on the yarn from the second source so that it is rapidly overfed and the air entangler produces a slub in the entangled yarn.
