  • Patent number: 8829170
Abstract: The present invention relates generally to constructs and in particular genetic constructs comprising polynucleotide sequences capable of release in covalently closed, circular form from a larger nucleotide sequence such as, but not limited to, a genome of a eukaryotic cell. Preferably, once released, a polynucleotide sequence is reconstituted in a form which permits expression of the polynucleotide sequence. In one embodiment, the reconstituted polynucleotide sequence comprises a coding sequence with all or part of an extraneous nucleotide such as, but not limited to, an intronic sequence or other splice signal inserted therein. Expression and in particular transcription of the coding sequence involves splicing out the extraneous sequence. The release and circularization is generally in response to a stimulus such as a protein-mediated stimulus. More particularly, the protein is a viral or prokaryotic or eukaryotic derived protein or developmentally and/or tissue specific regulated protein.

  • Publication number: 20070112947
Abstract: The “Multiple Problem Ticket Creation Tool” (MPTCT) creates problem tickets on a network connected by an enterprise services bus having servers on the network with different problem ticketing systems. The MPTCT receives an original problem ticket, converts the original problem ticket to an XML or other format, determines which problem ticketing system is responsible for fixing the problem, determines which problem ticketing system are affected by the problem, creates an authoritative ticket on the responsible problem ticketing system, creates an informational ticket on every ticketing system affected by the problem, maps a tracking number between the original problem ticket and the related problem tickets created on other problem ticketing systems, tracks callbacks from each problem ticketing system, updates each related problem ticket with the callback information, and closes each related informational problem ticket and the original problem ticket when the authoritative problem ticket is closed.

  • Patent number: 5408393
Abstract: An improved head lamp assembly adapted for use on protective helmets and other headgear, comprises a "U"-shaped housing, multiple head lamps supported by the housing and arranged to project multiple overlapping cone shaped light beams in a direction generally parallel to the plane of the "U", each head lamp including a light bulb and a reflector for shaping the individual cones of illumination, wherein the head lamps are spaced apart along a front face of the "U"-shaped housing so as to project overlapping cones of illumination in a direction parallel to the plane of the "U" and having a total included lateral angle of illumination approaching that of human peripheral vision. The assembly contains batteries for powering the multiple head lamps, an interconnecting circuit, on/off switch and power supply and charger connections. The U-Shaped housing is substantially rigid, desirably of rectangular cross-section and conveniently snaps into place on the protective helmet.
