Abstract: An air freshener assembly is disclosed comprising a rigid housing having an interior cavity, an exterior surface having a substantially planar portion and also having a plurality of apertures formed in the substantially planar exterior surface of the rigid housing. An insert containing a volatile fragrant material is disposed within the interior cavity of the rigid housing. A substantially rigid cover member having an upper decorative surface is attached to the substantially planar exterior surface of the rigid housing such that the cover member is supported substantially parallel to and spaced from the housing surface to permit volatilized aromatic gas emitted from the apertures to mix with ambient air.

Abstract: An electrical power supply connector is disclosed for use with a vehicle having an electrical distribution system including a cigarette lighter receptacle, the power supply connector comprising an opaque elongated body with a longitudinal axis extending the length of the body and an exterior surface having a perimeter encircling the longitudinal axis. Terminals are positioned near the first end of the body and are adapted to be inserted into the receptacle to make electrical connection with the electrical distribution system. An electrical light source is supported within the connector. Circuitry within the connector is adapted to electrically connect the light source to the electrical distribution system to energize the light source when the first end of the connector is inserted into the receptacle. A lens encircling the exterior surface of the body directs light from the light source exteriorly of the body.

Abstract: An electrically powered portable cutting shear is disclosed for cutting a narrow elongated strip from a sheet of material. The cutting shear has a bifurcated cutting end with two spaced apart sides and a motorized cutting arm which pivots up and down between the respective sides of the cutting end. The cutting end has a first pair of removable spaced apart cutting edges mounted thereon while the cutting arm supports a second pair of removable cutting edges which are operatively received between the cutting edges supported on the cutting end and adapted to cut two edges of a narrow strip of material. A spacer is provided between the cutting arm blades and operates to dislodge the cut strip during the cutting process so that the strip does not interfere with the cutting action of the blades.

Abstract: A blister card display package including a display card and a blister pack mounted on the card and including a blister portion for containing an article to be displayed. The card is folded in half to define identical front and rear portions having free edges which are aligned with the card in its folded configuration and the blister pack is mounted on the front face of the front portion of the card and includes a tab portion adapted to fit over the aligned free edges of the folded card. The tab portion releasably maintains the card in its folded configuration but readily allows the card, following removal from a display peg, to be moved to its open position to allow the potential purchaser to examine the descriptive and advertising material contained on the outer and inner surfaces of the front and rear portions of the card.

Abstract: A combination platform and light string unit for use with a miniature or table-top Christmas tree. In an alternative embodiment, a musical unit is included within the platform to play holiday music.

Abstract: A light illuminating kit assembly 12 is installable on a garment 10 for illuminating and enhancing a graphics illustration 16 as printed on the exterior surface of the garment 10. The kit assembly includes a central actuation unit 26 having a plurality of wires 24 connecting the central actuation unit with a plurality of light emitting diodes 20. The central actuation unit has a control circuit 30 and a power supply 32 connected thereto via a switch 35. The LED's, when installed through apertures in the shirt, can be flashed ON and OFF in a desired pattern to enhance the illustrations 16.
