Abstract: A shift mechanism for conditioning a transmission assembly of an off-highway implement. The transmission assembly includes a clutch assembly having a manually actuated clutch pedal for facilitating shifting of the transmission from a neutral condition to any of a plurality of drive conditions. The shift mechanism includes a shift lever mounted for movement toward and away from a neutral position corresponding to the neutral condition of the transmission assembly and a shifting assembly connected to the transmission assembly and mounted for movement along a predetermined path of travel. The shifting assembly is moved in response to shifting movements of the shift lever from for conditioning the transmission assembly into any of the plurality of drive conditions depending on the direction of movement of the shift lever.

Abstract: A tilt and telescope steering wheel with a push button keyboard non-rotatably mounted within the steering wheel has a foot actuated release mechanism for simultaneous disengagement of tilt lock and telescope lock mechanisms. A readout instrument panel with various indicators thereon rigidly attached to and tiltable with the steering column so as to provide a constant angular correlation with the steering wheel facilitating an unobstructed view of the panel in all steering wheel tilt positions.

Abstract: An operating rod comprising a foot pedal assembly is carried on a first movable body and is maintained in vertical axial alignment with a control means grounded to a second movable body. The operating rod maintains operative association with the control means regardless of divergent movement between the first and the second movable body.
