Patent number: 10782864Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure are directed to a two-axis slider graphical user interface system and method. A work station may comprise a processor, non-transitory memory, and an application that when executed by the processor, displays a graphical user interface comprising a two-axis slider within a two-dimensional space that is bounded by a first axis and a second axis, the first axis and second axis corresponding with a first selection method and second selection method, respectively. The work station receives, via the two-axis slider, an adjustment and input criteria that are sent to a server. The work station automatically receives selection of a weighted portion for each of the two selection methods and receives a selection of a defined number of mobile devise corresponding to each weighted portion, and feedback is dynamically displayed on the graphical user interface.Type: GrantFiled: June 16, 2016Date of Patent: September 22, 2020Assignee: Sprint Communications Company L.P.Inventors: Ryan K. Publication number: 20080318233Abstract: This invention allows efficient tagging and normalization of DNA molecules prior to pooling and characterization using parallel DNA sequencing (e.g., commercially available 454 sequencers). The invention provides novel ways to process independent DNA samples (sources) so that similar numbers of molecules from each source are represented in the pool (i.e., the pool is normalized for representation among the sources). These approaches would save researchers time and energy relative to approaches currently available. In other embodiments, the invention provides novel ways to process large numbers of independently derived DNA samples that can be uniquely tagged in ways that allow the source of the DNA (e.g., an individual) to be tracked. The invention also provides novel ways for processing DNA to consistently obtain various portions of the genome to compare DNA sequences and directly measure mutations using state of the art massively parallel DNA sequencing (e.g.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 31, 2008Publication date: December 25, 2008Inventors: Travis C. Patent number: 5116118Abstract: A sensor assembly to be carried on an aircraft or spacecraft which will travel along an arbitrary flight path, for providing an image of terrain over which the craft travels. The assembly includes a main linear sensor array and a plurality of auxiliary sensor arrays oriented parallel to, and at respectively different distances from, the main array. By comparing the image signals produced by the main sensor array with those produced by each auxiliary array, information relating to variations in velocity of the craft carrying the assembly can be obtained. The signals from each auxiliary array will provide information relating to a respectively different frequency range.Type: GrantFiled: June 28, 1990Date of Patent: May 26, 1992Assignee: The United States of America as represented by the Administrator of the National Aeronautics and Space AdministrationInventor: Kenneth L. Patent number: 5081327Abstract: A sealable hermetic microchip package includes a vent therein that permits gas to escape during the sealing operation, but then itself is sealed at the completion of the sealing operation to render the package hermetic. The venting of gas from the interior of the package avoids the buildup of internal pressure during the sealing operation that can introduce bubbles and other faults into the sealing material. The vent may be a channel in the sealing surface of the lid of the package that is initially open, and then fills with the seal material as it flows to effect the seal. The vent may also be a hole in the lid that is sealed by the flow of a bead of the seal material. An equivalent approach to venting provided that the lid be mounted on standoffs that flow during sealing to permit the lid to settle onto the base of the package.Type: GrantFiled: March 28, 1990Date of Patent: January 14, 1992Assignee: Cabot CorporationInventors: Dana R. Graham, Kenneth L. Jones, II
