  • Patent number: 12002171
Abstract: An augmented reality surgical system includes a head mounted display (HMD) with a see-through display screen, a motion sensor, a camera, and computer equipment. The motion sensor outputs a head motion signal indicating measured movement of the HMD. The computer equipment computes the relative location and orientation of reference markers connected to the HMD and to the patient based on processing a video signal from the camera. The computer equipment generates a three dimensional anatomical model using patient data created by medical imaging equipment, and rotates and scales at least a portion of the three dimensional anatomical model based on the relative location and orientation of the reference markers, and further rotate at least a portion of the three dimensional anatomical model based on the head motion signal to track measured movement of the HMD. The rotated and scaled three dimensional anatomical model is displayed on the display screen.

  • Publication number: 20240169696
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for updating a trained gesture recognition model deployed on a neuromorphic processor that has been trained to process data that characterizes the new gesture and to determine a gesture classification for the gesture are described. A method includes receiving data that characterizes a new gesture and processing the data to generate a new embedding in a latent space. For each of multiple clusters of reference embeddings in the latent space, a respective distance in the latent space between the cluster of reference embedding and the new embedding is determined. A determination is made, based on applying one or more learning rules to the distances, one or more procedures to update the gesture recognition model. A determination is made, in accordance with the determined procedure(s), an update to values of one or more parameters of the gesture recognition model.

Abstract: Systems and methods for using stratigraphic heat maps to steer a well being drilled. Data from one or more offset wells can be provided to a computer system and used with data from a well being drilled to generate one or more stratigraphic heat maps during the drilling of the subject well. The stratigraphic heat maps can be displayed and used to determine the location of the wellbore relative to one or more geological formations, including one or more target formations or within a target formation. Based on the use of the heat maps and the location of the wellbore relative to a target, the drill plan can be adjusted or updated and/or one or more drilling parameters or operations may be adjusted to drill the wellbore, such as to drill the wellbore to the target or to maximize the length of the wellbore within a target zone.

  • Publication number: 20240107557
Abstract: A method for a first UE to perform sidelink communication with a second UE is provided. The method receives a first resource set from a cell to establish a first sidelink channel with the second UE, the first resource set indicating at least a first distance between the first and second UEs. The method establishes the first sidelink channel with the second UE based on the first resource set and transmits a set of parameters associated with the first sidelink channel to the cell. The method also sets a first timer based on at least the first distance, the first timer for determining when to establish a second sidelink channel with the second UE.
