  • Patent number: 6786267
Abstract: An elongated bar with a threaded central aperture has a laterally spaced unthreaded oval slot on each side of the aperture. A threaded side rod extends through each oval slot with threaded jam nuts on each side of the bar. A central rod has a threaded central extent received in the aperture. The upper end of the rod has a head to facilitate turning the rod within the bar and the axial movement there between. The lower end is formed with an axial slot and a radial hole. A pivoting wing locking plate has a pivot pin rotatably coupling the locking plate to the rod. The locking plate is positionable in contact with a side of a wheel remote from the bar. A radius plate secured to the lower end of each side rod has a lower face positionable in contact with a side of a tire adjacent to the bar.

  • Patent number: 6009776
Abstract: A right angle ratchet wrench drive unit comprised of a drive unit formed in an L-shaped orientation. The drive unit has a first end and a second end each having recesses. Each recess has an axis positioned at a ninety degree angle with respect to each other. The second recess has an internal cylindrical recess extending coaxially inwardly of its inboard end. The internal cylindrical recess has a pair of diametrically opposed spring-biased detents therein. First and second gear assemblies are positioned within the recesses. Each gear assembly includes a bevel gear having teeth and a central shaft. Each central shaft is formed in a generally cylindrical configuration with an inner end and an outer end. The outer end of the central shaft of the second gear assembly has a shoulder portion disposed thereon. The shoulder portion has a gear post extending coaxially therefrom. The bevel gear of the second gear assembly is positioned around the gear post.

  • Patent number: 5320561
Abstract: A connector (40) for insertion into a portable electronic device (30) provides testing, programming and power thereto. The portable electronic device (30) has a chassis (32) housed therein and further includes a battery cavity (35) with battery contacts (36) therein. The connector (40) has a distal end for contacting the chassis (32) through an access port (34) in the battery cavity (35). A proximal end of the connector (40) is adapted for connection to a cable. The connector (40) has a substrate (50) attached to a printed wire board (41), wherein the printed wire board (41) further comprises a first plurality of conductors (52) thereon for receiving data signals from the cable, and a second plurality of conductors (42) thereon for receiving power signals from the cable.
