Abstract: A system, method and apparatus relating to a therapeutic substance delivery patch for attachment to a patient such that the patch is in contact with the patient's skin, wherein the patch coordinates its delivery of the therapeutic substance to the patient based on information received relating to the operation of the implanted device. The information received by the patch may be received through telemetry from the implanted device, or alternatively from the patch sensing the action of the implanted device, or alternatively from the patch sensing the patient's physiologic reaction to the action taken by the implanted device.

Abstract: Techniques are described for incorporating patient medical information of a clinical information system in programming decision making to improve programming parameter selection. In particular, a medical device programmer accesses patient medical information of the clinical information system and provides an interface by which a programming operator interacts with the medical device programmer to identify a programming parameter value based on the patient medical information. The medical device programmer either computes programming parameter values and suggests the computed programming parameter values to the programming operator or displays the patient medical information to the programming operator who considers it in determining programming parameter values. The medical device programmer may also update the clinical information system with either clinical or administrative data, which may then be acted upon by the clinical information system.

Abstract: A system and method for computer enabled network patient management of medical devices used in chronic disease management. Utilizing web site and push alert notification of alert level physiologic data derived via analysis of continuous stream wireless data transmissions from a patient, a full cycle improvement over existing modalities is achieved. Proxy and medical device user integration and access is enabled to achieve further contribution to the technical advantages of the system.
