  • Publication number: 20230175285
Abstract: A decorative covering for a chain link fence post includes a first post cover, a second post cover, a plurality of left chain-link receiving openings, a plurality of right chain-link receiving openings, a left interlocking mechanism, and a right interlocking mechanism. The plurality of left chain-link receiving openings and the plurality of right chain-link receiving openings are oppositely positioned of each other about a sagittal plane of the first post cover to receive chain link fences that outwardly extends from the fence post. The plurality of left chain-link receiving openings terminally traverses into the first post cover. The plurality of right chain-link receiving openings terminally traverses into the first post cover so that the first post cover can extend beyond the chain link fences. The first and second post covers are attached to each other by the left and right interlocking mechanisms thus fully covering the fence post within.

  • Publication number: 20230143129
Abstract: A method is provided for dynamic rate limiting of user requests for a service implemented in a computer system. The method includes defining a standard rate limit as an active rate limit for a first user, receiving one or more requests from the first user defining a rate exceeding the active rate limit, and determining a maximum safe system rate for a system implementing the method. The method may then redefine the active rate limit as the lower of the maximum safe system rate and a previously defined burst rate limit associated with the first user. The system may then execute the one or more requests from the first user at or below the redefined active rate limit.

  • Patent number: 11642640
Abstract: A method of using a feedstock gas reactor is described. A hydrocarbon, such as methane, is chemical decomposed in the feedstock gas reactor using heat of combustion generated from the combustion of a combustible gas. A mixed product stream is extracted from the feedstock gas reactor. The mixed product stream comprises hydrogen, carbon, and water. At least a portion of the one or more combustion product gases are vented from the combustion chamber. At least some of the carbon is activated using the vented one or more combustion product gases. • Publication number: 20230126525
Abstract: A transmission hydraulic control system includes a manual valve, a default valve, and a clutch prime valve. The manual valve allows fluid flow from a pressurized line to a drive line when the manual valve is open (when a transmission is in drive or reverse). The manual valve prevents fluid flow from the pressurized line to the drive line when the manual valve is closed (when the transmission is in neutral or park). The clutch prime valve allows fluid to flow from the pressurized line to the drive line, and thereby bypass the manual valve, when the manual valve is closed and the clutch prime valve is open. The default valve allows fluid bypassing the manual valve to flow to prime a clutch of the transmission when the default valve is open. The clutch prime valve prevents fluid from bypassing the manual valve when the clutch prime valve is closed.

  • Publication number: 20230122391
Abstract: Example apparatus disclosed herein are to obtain a first hash key, a second hash key and a third hash key representative of first reference media in response to a first query of a first table, the second hash key associated with a second time preceding a first time associated with the first hash key, the third hash key associated with a third time following the first time associated with the first hash key. Disclosed example apparatus are also to prequalify the first hash key as a candidate for subsequent signature processing associated with a first site signature in response to a determination that the second hash key corresponds to a second site signature preceding the first site signature in time and that the third hash key corresponds to a third site signature following the first site signature in time.

  • Patent number: 11606346
Abstract: A logic circuit for managing reception of secure data packets in an industrial controller snoops data being transferred by a Media Access Controller (MAC) between a network port and a shared memory location within the industrial controller. The logic circuit is configured to perform authentication and/or decryption on the data packet as the data packet is being transferred between the port and the shared memory location. The logic circuit performs authentication as the data is being transferred and completes authentication shortly after the MAC has completed transferring the data to the shared memory. The logic circuit coordinates operation with the MAC and signals a Software Packet Processing (SPP) module when authentication is complete. The logic circuit is further configured to decrypt the data packet, if necessary, and to similarly coordinate operation with the MAC and delay signaling the SPP module that data is ready until decryption is complete.

  • Patent number: 11599649
Abstract: A logic circuit for generation of data signatures and/or encryption of data packets to be transferred from an industrial controller snoops data as it is written to an output buffer within the industrial controller. The logic circuit generates a secure signature and/or coordinates encryption of the data packet being transferred between the shared memory location and the output buffer. If encryption of the data is required, an encryption module may both encrypt the data and generate a secure signature. If encryption is not required, the logic circuit generates the secure signature. In either case, the logic circuit controls ownership of the memory address in which the secure signature is to be written to coordinate with the MAC transferring the secure signature to the output buffer, providing a uniform interface between the SPP module and the MAC.

  • Patent number: 11591763
Abstract: A drainage device includes a conduit extending from a bottom end toward a top end and a valve coupled to the conduit. The valve includes a first stop having an opening and an obstruction within the conduit. The obstruction, in a first configuration, may be spaced apart from the opening, enabling fluid to flow through the first stop and through the conduit. The obstruction, in a second configuration, may block the opening to prevent fluid flow through the first stop and through the conduit. The obstruction may move from the first configuration to the second configuration in response to (1) fluid pressure acting in a direction from the bottom end toward the top end of the conduit, or (2) when a fluid having a higher density than the obstruction is disposed within the valve.

  • Patent number: 11593225
Abstract: A method and system for live-mounting database backups. Specifically, disclosed method and system entail recovering database data—in entirety or at any granular level—without needing to provision storage resources for point-in-time database copies (i.e., backup database data), or without needing to wait for large amounts of data, representative of the point-in-time database copies, to traverse a network from backup storage to a target device. Substantively, through live-mounting, the physical point-in-time database data, as well as the associated structural metadata, may be retained on backup storage while a pointer-based snapshot, mapping to the physical point-in-time database data and structural metadata, may be generated thereon. Thereafter, a file system—mapping to the pointer-based snapshot on the backup storage—may be mounted on the target device, which exposes an interface through which the backup database data may be accessed and/or manipulated using a distributed file system protocol.

  • Publication number: 20230048477
Abstract: Computer-implemented systems and methods are provided for tracking user activity and managing quests. By way of example, a method may include receiving, from a website server, first identity data representing an identity of a user and data identifying a quest activated by the user, the quest comprising one or more activities to be performed at a physical location, and receiving, from at least one reporting device, second identity data representing the identity of the user at the physical location, and activity tracking data in response to the user performing an activity associated with the quest at the physical location. The method may also include identifying the user and the quest activated by the user based on the first identity data and data identifying the quest, further identifying the user and activity data related to the quest based on the second identity data and activity tracking data, and monitoring a progress of the user.
