  • Patent number: 10971147
Abstract: In an aspect of the present disclosure, a method for providing an alternate modality of input for filling a form field in response to a failure of voice recognition is disclosed including prompting the user for information corresponding to a field of a form, generating speech data by capturing a spoken response of the user to the prompt using at least one input device, attempting to convert the speech data to text, determining that the attempted conversion has failed, evaluating the failure using at least one speech rule, selecting, based on the evaluation, an alternate input modality to be used for receiving the information corresponding to the field of the form, receiving the information corresponding to the field of the form from the alternate input modality, and injecting the received information into the field of the form.

  • Patent number: 8028046
Abstract: In a particular illustrative embodiment, a method of configuring a network device is disclosed that includes determining network device information at a network device using a boot strapping protocol during an initial set-up process of the network device. The method further includes automatically modifying a configuration profile of the network device to connect to a network in a first device mode using the network device information. The method also includes receiving configuration information transmitted from a configuration server without requesting the configuration information. The configuration information includes routing information and configuration parameters particular to the network device. The method further includes automatically modifying the configuration profile of the network device to operate in a second device mode based on the configuration information. The first device mode is a non-operational mode and the second device mode is an operational mode.

  • Publication number: 20090125953
Abstract: Systems, methods and graphical user interfaces monitoring an Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) network are provided. A particular method includes receiving IPTV process data. The IPTV process data includes information about a plurality of processes executing at a plurality of servers of an IPTV distribution network. The method also includes analyzing the IPTV process data to determine process operational information. The process operational information is descriptive of the operation of at least a first process of the plurality of processes and operation of at least a second process of the plurality of processes. The method also includes generating a display based on the operational information. The display includes an aggregate display element representing the operation of the at least one first process and the operation of the at least one second process.
