  • Patent number: 8857289
Abstract: Automotive push-pull type transmission shift cable assemblies are disclosed that meet new specifications for extended performance at high temperatures, including certain embodiments suitable for use at elevated temperatures of at least 165° C. The cable comprises a conduit and a core wire extending through the ends of the conduit to a shifter end portion and transmission end portion. The transmission end portion comprises a core wire length adjuster and a conduit end fitting. The core wire length adjuster comprises a core wire adjuster isolator and a retainer cap. At least certain embodiments of the transmission shift cable assemblies pass one or a combination of the following tests: a. Lash 200,000 Cycles Test, b. Attachment Pin Installation 200,000 Cycles Test, c. Attachment Pin Extraction 200,000 Cycles Test, and d. Cable Efficiency Test e. In-Vehicle Routing 165° C. Cable Strength Test.

  • Publication number: 20090211388
Abstract: A shifter assembly includes a base and a shifter lever pivotably connected to the base so that the shifter lever is pivotable over a shift path about a laterally extending pivot axis. A shifter control cable assembly includes a first conduit, a first core disposed in the first conduit for longitudinal movement therein, a second conduit, and a second core disposed in the second conduit for longitudinal movement therein. The first core is operatively connected to the shifter lever so that the first core is pulled by the shifter lever when the shifter lever is pivoted about the pivot axis in a first direction. The second core is operatively connected to the shifter lever so that the second core is pulled by the shifter lever when the shifter lever is pivoted about the pivot axis in a second direction opposite the first direction.

  • Patent number: 7328816
Abstract: A food and beverage dispenser with a dispenser lid and a dispenser body. The dispenser body has four walls and a bottom. The dispenser lid seats on the dispenser body. The dispenser lid is secured to the body by cooperation of the lid with the body. Rotation of the lid causes a seal bead on the lid to seal against a seal bead on the body. The dispenser lid is a polyethylene shell, and the seal bead on the dispenser lid is an elastomeric gasket secured to the polyethylene shell.

  • Patent number: 7134552
Abstract: The food pan carrier has a pan carrier body and a pan carrier door. The pan carrier door is slidable relative to the pan carrier body from an open to a closed position. When the door is in the closed position, the food pan carrier will maintain food that has been heated to at least 185° at a minimum of 141° for an extended period of time. The pan carrier body has grooves in which the food pan door is received. The food pan door preferably has rails that are slidable in the grooves. The door slides in the grooves from a second end to a first end of the grooves. As the door slides from the open to the closed position, it moves toward a sealing surface that circumscribes an opening through which food pans are inserted and removed from the pan carrier body. In the fully closed position, the door sealingly engages the sealing surface that circumscribes the opening through which food pans are inserted and removed.
