  • Patent number: 9984338
Abstract: Systems and methods for e-commerce customer support activities are provided via an analytics server, which provides real-time information concerning customer visits to an e-commerce Web site to a merchant that operates the Web site, for example via a dashboard or other user interface. The real-time information allows the merchant to monitor and optionally interact with customers visiting the Web site, for example by viewing requests for customer service and providing real-time customer service via interactive user interfaces. Real-time telemetry concerning the customer visits is provided to the analytics server, which then presents the information in meaningful fashions via the dashboard or user interfaces for review by the merchant. Merchant responses to the information is facilitated via analytics engines, customer support engines, rule engines, deal engines, recommendation engines, and other components, which may operate according to customized rule sets to implement specific customer support policies.

  • Patent number: 8392828
Abstract: Methods and system for customizing a webpage include generating a schematic representation of the webpage wherein the webpage includes a plurality of section elements that are customizable. The schematic representation identifies a plurality of schematic section elements corresponding to the plurality of section elements of the webpage. The schematic representation is rendered for the webpage and provides visual navigation through various section elements of the webpage. A schematic section element is selected from the schematic representation, for customizing. The selection of the schematic section element triggers rendering of respective one or more navigation links, which provide tools or options for customization. Changes representing customization to one or more attributes associated with the selected schematic section element are received and the attributes are updated at the schematic representation in real-time.

  • Publication number: 20100299586
Abstract: Methods and system for customizing a webpage include generating a schematic representation of the webpage. The webpage includes a plurality of section elements that are customizable. The schematic representation identifies a plurality of schematic section elements corresponding to the plurality of section elements of the webpage. The schematic representation is rendered alongside the webpage and provides visual navigation through various section elements of the webpage. A schematic section element is identified and selected from the schematic representation, for customizing. The selection of the schematic section element triggers rendering of one or more navigation links associated with the selected schematic section element. The navigation links provide tools or options enabling customization. Changes to one or more attributes associated with the selected schematic section element representing customization are received and the attributes are updated at the schematic representation in real-time.
