Publication number: 20240120873Abstract: A roof integrated solar power system includes a plurality of solar modules. Each solar module carries a photovoltaic or solar panel with solar cells. Edge regions of the solar module are disposed to the sides of the solar panel and are devoid of solar cells. An electrical component such as a junction box or micro-inverter, or DC optimizer is mounted on top of the solar module within at least one of the edge regions. Cabling for interconnecting the electrical component to electrical components of others of the plurality of solar modules also is located within the side regions. In one embodiment, the electrical component and cabling is disposed within a recess within a side region and covered by a flat access panel. In another embodiment, the electrical component and cabling is located atop the side region and is covered by an access panel in the form of a protective cover strip.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 20, 2023Publication date: April 11, 2024Inventors: Tommy F. Patent number: 11736532Abstract: A system for automatic collection and analysis of digital forensic evidence by a cloud service provider is disclosed. The system utilizes machine learning models to identify and store digital forensic evidence relating to cybercrimes committed using a cloud service. Particularly, if an image or video file uploaded to the cloud service provider is determined to relate to illicit, illegal, or malicious activity, relevant digital forensic evidence is extracted and stored for later provision to law enforcement. The digital forensic evidence that is collected may be used to assist law enforcement in their investigations of criminal activity, as well as aid in the successful prosecution of criminals in court proceedings.Type: GrantFiled: August 28, 2020Date of Patent: August 22, 2023Assignee: Purdue Research FoundationInventors: Marcus Kent Rogers, Fahad Esaam Salamh, Umit Karabiyik

Publication number: 20120305553Abstract: A stackable fluid storage tank and a sealing system for attaching to a pair of fluid containers to provide a stackable fluid storage tank. The stackable fluid storage tank includes first and second fluid containers. When the containers are mated, a first aperture on the first fluid container is in fluid communication with a second aperture on the second fluid container for providing fluid communication between the first and second fluid containers. When the containers are mated, a rigid seal tongue extending from the first fluid container is received within a seal groove defined by the second fluid container for providing a fluid-tight seal between the first and second fluid containers around the first and second apertures.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 5, 2012Publication date: December 6, 2012Applicant: 1607369 Alberta Ltd.Inventors: Arthur Duncan BROTZELL, Donalee McColl-Brotzell, Kent Roger ANDERSON

Patent number: 7590939Abstract: Slide presentation files may be separated into one or more individual slide files, and the one or more individual slide files may be stored in a remote or local slide library. Stored individual slide files are populated with metadata for allowing subsequent search and location of individual slide files. A synchronization relationship may be established between a stored slide file and a copy of the stored slide file used in a slide presentation document. As updates are made to the stored slide file, a user of a copy of the stored slide file may be informed of and provided changes made to the original slide file via the synchronization relationship.Type: GrantFiled: June 24, 2005Date of Patent: September 15, 2009Assignee: Microsoft CorporationInventors: Chaitanya Dev Sareen, Clara Graham, Erin Megan Riley, Jennifer Sadler, Kent Rogers Lowry, Louisa Chi Yan Lee, Ravishankar Shanmugam, Sean Erik McAteer, Scott M. Patent number: 7222294Abstract: Formats are extended automatically to cells in an electronic spreadsheet. Previously blank, newly edited cell(s) are determined to be an extension or within a list of cells based on having a consistent data type, and the like. Next, formatting of the list of cells is examined for consistency. If consistent formatting exists, it is applied to the previously blank, newly edited cell(s). List of cells may include rows, columns, and the like.Type: GrantFiled: September 22, 2003Date of Patent: May 22, 2007Assignee: Microsoft CorporationInventors: Robert Wayne Coffen, Kent Rogers Lowry, Eric Lawrence Matteson, Mark S. Publication number: 20040060001Abstract: Methods for automatically, without user instruction, extending a format and/or a formula to include a cell in an electronic spreadsheet. A previously blank newly edited cell may be determined to be an extension to or within a list of cells. A list of cells may be defined as a number of previous cells having a consistent data type. If a list of cells exists and the previously blank newly edited cell also includes the consistent data type, the previously blank newly edited cell is considered to be an extension of or within a list. The cells in the list are then examined for consistent formatting. If consistent formatting exists in the list, the consistent formatting is applied to the previously blank newly edited cell. Also, the cells in the list are examined for consistent formulas. The rows containing the cells in the list are each examined for a consistent formula having all supporting cells populated.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 22, 2003Publication date: March 25, 2004Applicant: Microsoft CorporationInventors: Robert Wayne Coffen, Kent Rogers Lowry, Eric Lawrence Matteson, Mark S.
