    Abstract: According to one embodiment, there is provided a display device including a first display panel, a second display panel, a polarizer, and a light source unit. The first display panel includes a first liquid crystal layer. The second display panel includes a second liquid crystal layer. The polarizer has an absorption axis which allows absorption of linearly polarized light. The light source unit is opposed to a first end portion of the first display panel and a second end portion of the second display panel. Each of the first liquid crystal layer and the second liquid crystal layer includes streak-like polymers and liquid crystal molecules.
