  • Publication number: 20090026998
Abstract: A motor is controlled to always consume power supplied from a power supply system or not to supply power to the power supply system, by performing control to advance or delay a phase of a 3-phase current flowing in the motor or to reduce a percentage of the generated torque with respect to an effective value of the 3-phase current of the motor, or by applying a d-axis current to the motor.

  • Publication number: 20070112473
Abstract: An operation input device of a vehicle capable of operating the vehicle by allowing an operation input into the vehicle even when an active reaction part (3) is not operated. In one embodiment of this invention, the device comprises an operation input part (1) receiving an operational force, the active reaction part (3) generating, against an applied operating force, a reaction by an electrical control in the operation input part (1), and an active reaction releasing part (4) opening a force transmission route between the active reaction part (3) and the operation input part (1).

  • Publication number: 20060231074
Abstract: For a pedal travel, a pedal reaction force, a driving force of a vehicle, and a braking force of a vehicle, different characteristics conformed to a stepping motion, a releasing motion, and a holding motion are determined on the basis of a pedal effort and predetermined characteristics of a pedal reaction force, and characteristics in a holding motion are changed according to vehicle information and environmental information.

  • Publication number: 20060219047
Abstract: The present invention provides a pedal system designed to realize a vehicle output as intended by a driver without a sense of incompatibility and to deliver a vehicle output corresponding to how to depress a pedal, leading to the advantages as achieving easy operation of the pedal system in accordance with the traveling state of a vehicle; indefatigably driving; and improvement of the operational feeling, and also provides a vehicle system provided with such a pedal system. The pedal system realizes the operation with no sense of incompatibility relative to the depression of the pedal by ensuring that a hysteresis is provided in the relationship between the pedal effort and the vehicle output, and a portion of the relationship of a vehicle output or a vehicle output command relative to a pedal effort in a depressing motion or in a releasing motion is represented by making a relationship including a straight line (linear) or a folded line.

  • Publication number: 20060219048
Abstract: To enable a pedal system equipped with an actuator to reduce power consumption and put a pedal at an appropriate position when there is no need to operate the pedal. A system state control unit changes pedal position to an end position or original position before deactivating the pedal system. It deactivates the pedal system based on information from a pedal position detection unit, pedal state detection unit, power supply state detection unit, and vehicle motion detection unit and activates the pedal system based on information from a power supply state detection unit. It shifts pedal position toward the original position after activation of the pedal system.

  • Publication number: 20060224284
Abstract: The invention provides a pedal system in which a preferable characteristic of a pedal and a preferable characteristic of a vehicle motion are achieved by changing a stiffness of the pedal and an outputting way of a vehicle output in accordance with a parameter on the basis of an operational information, a vehicle information and an environmental information, and a vehicle system with the pedal system. Even if the state of the vehicle changes, a gradient of the pedal reaction force or the vehicle output is changed in correspondence to the parameter without changing the pedal reaction force or the vehicle output.
