  • Patent number: 5985177
Abstract: This invention relates to an oil-in-water-in-oil (O/W/O) type multiple emulsion which contains an inner oil phase, a water phase, and an outer oil phase. The inner oil phase is first dispersed in water to form an oil-in-water (O/W) emulsion. Then, the O/W emulsion is further dispersed in the outer oil phase to form the O/W/O type multiple emulsion. The outer oil phase contains an organophilic clay mineral, which can effectively prevent the inter-mixing of the inner oil phase with the outer oil phase, thus, producing an O/W/O type multiple emulsion with excellent storage stability. Upon the using of an oil-soluble compound in the inner oil phase, this multiple emulsion system can prevent the oil-soluble compound from being oxidized.

  • Patent number: 5919398
Abstract: An oil-water mixed composition is consisted of a solid or semisolid oil phase at room temperature, and a water phase which is dispersed into the oil phase. The water phase contains a humectant and is solid or semisolid at room temperature. Preferably, the oil phase contains hydrophobic silica, dextrin fatty acid ester or polyvalent alcohol oligo ester of long chain monocarboxylic acid and long chain dicarboxylic acid. The oil-water mixed composition is superior in stability with passage of time and safety. In addition, this composition has demonstrated little stickiness and sensation of unsuitability for skin, and has much emollient effect (i.e., to prevent the skin from dryness) and is persistent in preserving its emollient effect.

  • Patent number: 4903169
Abstract: A shielded high-frequency apparatus has a partitioned shielding case with a printed circuit board mounted therein. The partitioned shielding case is formed of a plurality of mutually intersecting shield plates which are attached within a frame to form a plurality of shield chambers. The partitioned shielding case is manufactured by first forming a solder resist film over the partitioned plate surfaces other than at specific end regions of the partition plates and over the frame internal surface other than at positions immediately adjacent to the end regions of the partition plates when the partitioned shielding case is assembled. The partition plates are then mounted in the frame, solder is next applied to the regions from which the solder resist film was omitted. Secure attachment of the partition plates and ease of implementation of automatic manufacture are attained, with reduced manufacturing costs.

  • Patent number: 4812980
Abstract: In a map display system, map-forming data necessary for display of a display area and character data representing display areas are stored in a map data memory. A display area commander reads map-forming data indicating a specified display area out of the map data memory, and produces a display area instruction. A display character commander selects character data for a given point of the specified display area designated by the display area designation commander, and produces a display character instruction. On the basis of the display area instruction from the display area commander and the display character instruction from the display character commander, a map of the specified display area and characters in the specified display area are displayed on a display.
