  • Publication number: 20230400499
Abstract: A system and method for detecting location of fault in a cable receives disturbance data from first and second protection relays when one of the first protection relay and/or the second protection relay detects a fault in a section of the cable. The system extracts voltage and current data for each segment in the section using the disturbance data, cable parameters and length of each segment, and determines a fitness value for each segment in the section using the extracted voltage and current data. The system identifies a segment with a lowest fitness value from the fitness value determined for each segment in the section by comparing the fitness value of each segment with the fitness value of subsequent segments in the section and detects the segment with the lowest fitness value as fault location in the cable.

  • Patent number: 9885753
Abstract: Efficient scan system presented can comprise: an array including a plurality of array non scannable components and a plurality of array quasi-scannable components wherein each column of the array includes at least one of the plurality of array quasi-scannable components; and an input interface configured to receive and selectively forward data and scan information to at least a portion of the array. At least a portion of the plurality of array quasi-scannable components can form a diagonal pattern in the array. The input interface can include: an input interface selection component wherein an output of the input interface selection component is communicatively coupled to an input of the input interface quasi-scannable component associated with one row and an input of the input interface selection component is communicatively coupled to an output of one of the plurality of array quasi-scannable components associated with another row.

  • Patent number: 9279443
Abstract: A device (1) is provided for reversing the movement and/or actuation direction of an actuating cable (2) of a mechanism. A sliding piston (5) is arranged in a housing (3), which is fixed to the frame, so as to be displaceable in a sliding manner. The sliding piston can be displaced by the actuating cable (2). At least one actuating element (6) is arranged laterally on the sliding piston (5). A direction of movement of the actuating element is opposite to a direction of movement of the actuating cable (2) and the actuating element is mechanically coupled to the mechanism that is actuated.
