  • Publication number: 20240128945
Abstract: A flexible multi-path RF adaptive tuning network switch architecture that counteracts impedance mismatch conditions arising from various combinations of coupled RF band filters, particularly in a Carrier Aggregation-based (CA) radio system. In one version, a digitally-controlled tunable matching network is coupled to a multi-path RF switch in order to provide adaptive impedance matching for various combinations of RF band filters. Optionally, some or all RF band filters include an associated digitally-controlled filter pre-match network to further improve impedance matching. In a second version, some or all RF band filters coupled to a multi-path RF switch include a digitally-controlled phase matching network to provide necessary per-band impedance matching. • Publication number: 20240126785
Abstract: Techniques are described for preserving the inflight sessions failing over from a primary database to the replicated logical database of the primary database. In an implementation, prior to failover, when the primary database server receives a commit for a transaction, the process stores a commit indication that the transaction has been committed by performing a corresponding SQL command. The commit indication is replicated to the logical replica database by virtue of the replication of the SQL command and its execution on the logical replica database. Accordingly, the standby database server in the failover session may successfully request for the outcome of the transaction. Techniques are also described for the client-side LOB references to be preserved when failing over to the logical replica database, for AS OF queries preserved, and for versioning of checksums, signatures and structures across logical replicas.

  • Patent number: 11957526
Abstract: Methods, systems, and products monitor a person's regimen for medicinal and dietary restrictions. When the person's regimen requires a liquid medication or supplement, an oral instrument is commanded to dispense a dosage of fluid. The oral instrument stores a reservoir of the fluid. If the oral instrument is a spoon, for example, the spoon may automatically dispense cough syrup or other medicine. A toothbrush, likewise, may automatically dispense mouthwash. A sensor may confirm presence of the oral instrument in the person's mouth, thus ensuring the dosage of fluid is ingested.

  • Patent number: 11950914
Abstract: Multiple circuits in a computing device can share one or more conductive elements. The use of the conductive element can vary by circuit, such as an antenna radiator for a radio frequency (RF) circuit or an electrode for an electrocardiography (ECG) circuit. The circuitry sharing a conductive element can utilize signals obtained over different frequency ranges. Those ranges can be used to select decoupling circuitry, or elements, that can enable the respective circuits to obtain signals over a respective frequency range, excluding signals over one or more other frequency ranges corresponding to other circuitry sharing the circuit. Such an approach allows for concurrent independent operation of the circuitry sharing a conductive element.

  • Publication number: 20240113212
Abstract: Technologies for a field effect transistor (FET) with a ferroelectric gate dielectric are disclosed. In an illustrative embodiment, a perovskite stack is grown on a buffer layer as part of manufacturing a transistor. The perovskite stack includes one or more doped semiconductor layers alternating with other lattice-matched layers, such as undoped semiconductor layers. Growing the doped semiconductor layers on lattice-matched layers can improve the quality of the doped semiconductor layers. The lattice-matched layers can be preferentially etched away, leaving the doped semiconductor layers as fins for a ribbon FET. In another embodiment, an interlayer can be deposited on top of a semiconductor layer, and a ferroelectric layer can be deposited on the interlayer. The interlayer can bridge a gap in lattice parameters between the semiconductor layer and the ferroelectric layer.

  • Patent number: 11946098
Abstract: Electrochemical sensors have great promise for point-of-care and in vivo measurement of medically relevant molecules. However, the need for calibrating individual sensors limits the practical applicability of these sensing platforms. The invention provides a novel method of operating electrochemical sensors which obviates the need to calibrate individual sensors against a sample of known concentration. The invention exploits the frequency dependence of electrochemical output signals and the dependence of output signals on the inherent electron transfer kinetics of a selected sensor design. By use of signals generated at a nonresponsive frequency, a normalizing output value is generated that accounts for sensor-to-sensor variation and which enables an accurate calculation of target concentration. The scope of the invention also includes pre-calibrated sensors that may be utilized without calibration steps.

  • Patent number: 11948464
Abstract: A network computer system receives request data from computing devices of requesting users in a sub-region of a service area. The system further receives location data from computing devices of drivers operating in the sub-region. Based on the request data and the location data, the system determines a service condition for the sub-region. Based on the service condition indicating that the sub-region is in a driver oversupply state, the system transmits a service instruction to computing devices of a plurality of drivers within the sub-region, the service instruction being associated with a target outside the sub-region and a set of progress conditions. The system then periodically determines, for each driver of the plurality of drivers, an estimated time of arrival (ETA) to the target from a current position of the driver to determine whether the driver is satisfying the set of progress conditions of the service instruction.
