  • Publication number: 20200114996
Abstract: A trailer includes a trailer frame having a hitch. A stationary support base is joined to the trailer frame. Two support plates are slidably guided on the support base toward and away from each other. A pair of wheel assemblies is provided, wherein a wheel assembly is mounted to an end of each of the support plates remote from the other support plate such that a distance between the wheel assemblies varies with movement of the support plates on the support base. A pair of drive links is provided wherein a drive link is joined to each of the support plates. A drive mechanism is joined to the drive links and configured to selectively move the support plates toward or away from each other.

  • Patent number: 10537414
Abstract: An actuator (12) for a personal care appliance (10) having an eccentric core (21) to preload the actuator (12) to prevent rattling caused by detrimental reactionary forces. The eccentric core (21) includes a pole assembly (24) radially extending from a spindle (22) having at least a first set (25-1) and a second set (25-2) of pole members. The first set (25-1) has a greater length as measured from the center of the spindle (22) than the second set (24-2), reducing the magnet gap on one side of the spindle (22) to create an eccentric core and preload the actuator (12). Alternatively, the preload can be mechanically created by a set of bearings (28) disposed within housing (18) of the actuator (12), where the bearings (28) have a centerline (A3) offset from the principal axis (A1) of the housing (18).

  • Patent number: 10524890
Abstract: The power toothbrush includes a handle portion which includes a power drive assembly and a brushhead assembly (32) which includes a brushhead arm (36) and a brush element (38) at a distal end thereof. A V-spring assembly (14) converts the action of the power drive assembly to drive the brushhead assembly in a back-and-forth action. A mounting member (55) at the rear end of the V-spring assembly provides a base for a magnet (56). The V-spring assembly and the brushhead assembly comprises a unit which moves about a pivot point at the forward end of the V-spring assembly, so that the back end of the V-spring assembly is displaced in accordance with pressure applied to the brush member. A Hall effect sensor (58) is mounted within the changing magnetic field produced by the magnet as the rear end of the V-spring assembly is displaced due to pressure on the brushhead.

  • Patent number: 10501133
Abstract: A transportable fold-out structure includes a support frame. First and second primary platforms are pivotally supported by the support frame and each is disposed in an upright position wherein the platform extends upwardly. Two wall assemblies are disposed opposite each other. Each wall assembly includes a plurality of wall segments joined together. Each wall segment is pivotally joined to the support frame or one of the primary platforms. Each wall assembly is movable from a first position wherein the wall assembly is lying above the first and second primary platforms to a second position wherein the two wall assemblies face each other. First and second extensions are configured to be selectively positionable wherein a first portion of the extension is connected to the support frame and a second portion of the extension is remote from the corresponding first portion and extends laterally from the support frame.

  • Patent number: 10441393
Abstract: The toothbrush includes a handle portion which includes a power drive system (14) and further includes a brushhead assembly (20), which includes a brushhead arm having a brush element (21) at a distal end thereof A drive train assembly (12) is responsive to a drive signal from the power assembly for converting the action of the power assembly to a motion of the brushhead assembly. A magnet (30) is secured to the rear of the drive train, with a Hall effect sensor (32) mounted within the magnetic field produced by the magnet as the toothbrush moves in operation. Pressure on the brush element produces a phase shift of the Hall sensor output. A processor (15) determines the value of the phase shift of the Hall sensor signal as pressure is applied to the brush member and produces a signal indicative of the pressure applied by using stored information (71) which relates phase shift to pressure for the particular appliance.
