  • Patent number: 10300829
Abstract: A cargo space includes a rear lift gate moveable between opened and closed positions to allow movement of palletized containers into and out of the cargo space. The cargo space has a substantially horizontal floor with first and second sets of laterally spaced, parallel, longitudinal tracks. The tracks extend from the front to the lift gate at the rear of the cargo space. At least one set of tracks is positioned transverse to the longitudinal tracks. The tracks slidably support cargo container pallets. A system of actuators, guides and locks enable programmed movement of the pallets along the tracks into and out of the cargo space as well as within the cargo space.

  • Patent number: 9282686
Abstract: Alignment markers are added to each layer of a multiple layer substrate for proper alignment. Optical alignment markers are applied on the surface of each substrate layer. Groups of alignment markers are arranged in localized areas on each substrate layer. Each localized group of alignment markers are referred to as alignment target areas. The alignment markers in a first alignment target area on the first substrate layer are to be aligned with corresponding alignment markers in a second alignment target area on the second substrate layer. In some embodiments, the first alignment target area includes an alignment marker configured for manual alignment and another alignment marker configured for machine alignment. The second alignment target area has a corresponding manual alignment marker and machine alignment marker.

  • Publication number: 20090032432
Abstract: A modular packaging and display system for shipping and displaying products. The modular packaging and display system includes multiple display trays supported by a series of V-shaped spacers. The modular packaging and display system includes a plurality of V-shaped support members positioned near the corners of each display tray to stabilize the packaging system. The spacers and the support members are preferably formed from paperboard. The modular packaging and display system is strong enough to support the weight of the products and the trays and withstand the weight of one or more units stacked thereupon.
