  • Publication number: 20240115852
Abstract: An implantable medical lead includes a lead body extending from a proximal end to a distal end. The lead body includes an inner insulation layer and an outer insulation layer. The lead further includes a sleeve mechanically supported by the lead body at the distal end of the lead body. The lead further includes an uninsulated conductor coil. The uninsulated conductor coil includes a first portion having a first inner diameter, and a second portion having a second inner diameter and extending distally from the outer insulation layer. The first portion is positioned between the inner insulation layer and the outer insulation layer. The second inner diameter is greater than the first inner diameter. An outer surface of the second portion is exposed.

  • Patent number: 11946025
Abstract: This invention relates to novel whitening agents for cellulosic substrates. The whitening agents are comprised of at least two components: at least one chromophore component and at least one polymeric component. Suitable chromophore components generally fluoresce blue, red, violet, or purple color when exposed to ultraviolet light, or they may absorb light to reflect these same shades. The whitening agents are further characterized by having a dispersion component value of the Hansen Solubility Parameter of less than or equal to about 17 MPa0.5. This invention also relates to laundry care compositions including but not limited to liquid and/or powder laundry detergent formulations and rinse added fabric softening (RAFS) compositions that comprise such whitening agents.

  • Publication number: 20130186574
Abstract: The fiber batt reclaiming method and apparatus separates the fiber batt portion of surplus or defective fiberglass insulation from the paper backing material attached to the fiber batt. As the insulation is fed to a perforated roller, a vacuum means draws the backing material to the roller so that the backing material adheres to the roller. As the roller rotates the fiber batt portion of the insulation is separated from the backing material by a separation tool. In accordance with various embodiments of the apparatus, the separation tool may be an elongated knife, a pressurized air bar, a circular saw bar, or an elongated wire brush.

  • Patent number: 4932450
Abstract: A machine and method for forming an inside corner portion in a one-piece article material where the inside corner portion is produced by the meeting at a corner of first and second adjacent profiles defined by grooves or members. The inside corner portion at the corner is formed by machining the article material to form portions of the profiles not including the entirity of the inside corner portion, and then shearing the article material in the corner to form the inside corner portion. The machine has first and second cutter assemblies each having a shear cutter. Each shear cutter is mounted for movement along a path between retracted and extended positions such that the path of movement of the cutter of the first assembly meets with the path of movement of the cutter of the second assembly. The article having partial profiles formed therein is mounted with the cutter's positioned and seated with the profiles and such that the profiles are aligned along the paths of movement of the cutters.
