  • Patent number: 11974745
Abstract: A surgical instrument that comprises a surgical end effector, a handle that is connected to the surgical end effector and has a controller, and an interchangeable part removably connected to the surgical end effector and having an encryption device in electrical communication with the controller. The encryption device is programmed to authenticate the interchangeable part when the interchangeable part is at the surgical end effector.

  • Patent number: 11647801
Abstract: Methods for stabilizing insulation and constructing garments from the insulation are disclosed. Methods include arranging the fibers into a plurality of bundle structures. The fibers may be synthetic fibers. The method may include receiving the bundle structures into bundle channels. The bundle channels are formed by tacks. The bundle channels enable the uniform distribution of the bundle structures prior to stitching quilting stitch lines. Multiple quilting stitch lines are stitched after the bundle structures are uniformly distributed. The quilting stitch lines are orthogonal to the longitudinal axis of the bundle structures. The quilting stitch lines provide lateral as well as longitudinal stabilization of the uniform density of the bundle structures. The distance between the quilting stitch lines may be based on the loft of the fibers and/or a required durability of the garment. The quilting stitch lines are generally horizontal, while the longitudinal axis of the bundle structures are vertical.

  • Patent number: 9967234
Abstract: The present invention is a device, system and method for providing a more secure full motion video with metadata streaming product. More specifically, the invention is capable of ensuring a more secure video transfer from a less secure input data network to a more secure data receiving network through the use of a firewall on the less secure input network interface, which is used for separating video and discarding other unwanted data, and an Air Gap that physically separates the input and output networks. This physical separation ensures a secure transfer of the “cleaned” input data from the less secure input source to the more secure data receiving network.

  • Patent number: 7970518
Abstract: The keyless power system has an ignition system including an ignition switch having an “OFF” position and one or more electrical components associated with a work machine. The keyless power system also has one or more alternate power sources configured to provide electrical power to the one or more electrical components. The keyless power system also has a controller configured to determine a power-level requirement of the one or more electrical components and activate at least one of the one or more alternate power sources to at least partially satisfy the power-level requirement based on whether the ignition switch is in the “OFF” position.

  • Patent number: 7443048
Abstract: A method for operating an electrical system for a machine is provided. The electrical system may include at least one power source connected to a power-distribution network. The power-distribution network may include a first portion with one or more power loads connected thereto and a second portion with one or more power loads connected thereto. The method may include repeatedly executing a load-priority cycle including operating in a first load-priority mode and subsequently operating in a second load-priority mode, during a power deficit. Operating in the first load-priority mode may include supplying power to the first and second portions of the power-distribution network, with a priority on supplying power to the first portion. Operating in the second load-priority mode may include supplying power to the first and second portions of the power-distribution network, with a priority on supplying power to the second portion.
