Abstract: A cassette for use in dispensing a pleated tubing. The cassette includes an annular body having a generally U shaped housing with an open central cylindrical core. The annular body includes an inner wall, an angular wall a bottom wall and an outer wall. The annular cover has an outer wall and a ledge that extends radially inward from the outer wall and over the annular body that defines a gap between an inner edge of the ledge and the inner wall of the annular body. An inter-engagement mechanism is provided on the annular body and on opposite edges of the annular cover that cooperates to secure the cover to the body. At least one aperture is provided in the angular wall to enable ventilation of the air.

Abstract: A non-spill container assembly having a container, a collar and an annular seal from which drinking can occur at any location around a rim of the container assembly. The collar has an internal frustoconical shape wall with a circular upper end that extends downward and inwardly into a closed lower end. The closed lower end has a projection that extends outward from its center. The collar includes a support surface arranged along an inner surface of an upper edge of the circular upper end and a fastener assembly disposed adjacent to a bottom of the collar provided to securely fasten to a container. A plurality of passages are radially disposed around the projection in the internal frustoconical shape wall to channel a fluid. A plurality of radial protrusions disposed radially adjacent to the support surface defining various channels along the support surface.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for venting and compressing a fluid. The apparatus comprising a valve having a vent and a compressible element attached to the vent. The vent and the compressible element define a flow-through channel therein. The compressible element has an internal space adapted to be elastically compressed and expanded. The valve is further adapted to regulate a pressure in a container when a predetermined pressure is applied to the compressible element of the valve.
